I think so.

How could I not have thought of this one!? I would most likely use this all the time. Smile

/me hops around like a bunny!

How bout one where the avie, standing, puts one knee in the air, and pulls back his elbow, fist clenched, and says "Yess!!"

Not sure what to call it...

The hugs are awesome. The way hugs implemented in Matrix Online is:

1. You click on the avatar you want to hug, type /hug
2. The avatar you want to hug receives an invitation (in the form of the dialog box asking if so and so wants to hug you).
3. That avatar has a choice of accepting or rejecting the offer.
4. If accepted, both of you hug. There is ladies hug: arms go around each other's shoulders, heads go to the sides over the shoulders, ladies slightly elevate themselves on the tiptoe and bend one leg backwards at the knee Smile ). Man's hug: clenched fists lightly slapped against each other and man tap each other on the shoulder.

I would say:

/moonwalk

... but we're basically already doing that now. Confused Hopefully Cyan will be able to fix the "running in place" issue when running into a barrier of some type; I think that's the most jarring of the easier-to-fix avatar issues for me Sad

/skin [gimme five, blood!]
/highfive
/slapface
/pat [onback? onshoulder? onbum? Probably not that last one... still... Very Happy]
/embrace [NOT just a hug Wink voluntarily, of course]
/snuggle [self explanatory; also voluntarily]
/tickle [maybe not so voluntarily for this one Smile]
and...
/joke [we could perhaps write our own gags, but the hand motions like you're telling a story... maybe just a /tellstory prompt]

...and maybe a selection of dance cycles.

But we need to be able to sit down in a few different positions, based perhaps on environment and elevation, and to be able to lay down. With or without friends.

I would like to see
/slowdance
and if possible it could be with another person if they were so inclined.

But I voted for /hug
It is way good to get/give hugs.

I alwayas thought it would work like:

/handshake

Then you put out your hand, and if the other avi is in close proximity and wishes to, they'd do /handshake, as well, and the animations would be joined. Same with /hug, etc. Otherwise, if the second person didn't want to accept, they could just back off, like we do now.

With pop-up windows, it can be easily malevolently taken advantage of and they are spammily annoying enough online already.

I like most of the other suggestions for additional emotes here, though.

How about a tiny little notification in the bottom right corner, with a little X for decline and a check mark for accept? It wouldn't interfere with or cover up anything you're doing, but it would make you aware of someone trying to do a multi-person emote.

Also: no love for /Make Face? How else are you supposed to look ridiculous in KI shots?

And of course, it will return an error message if you out the wrong number of B's in "/thbbbbbbbbbt."

Preferably a really snarky error message. Wink
