I guess I could call myself a "veteran" MMORPG player. I started with Asheron's Call when the Solclaim server opened in Feb 2000. Played AC (antiquated, but still the classic), AO, AC2, Lineage 2, SWG (the great Sony Online Swindle), E&B (now defunct), Horizons (LOL), EVE (best PVP of them all), and WoW (the masses are indeed hypnotized by this one). I've beta'd a few of the above games as well. I've even sent my LOTR beta key to a friend.

I've never played the Myst solo games...although a quick order has the 10th anniversary edition on the way.

After reading these forums and from what I understand the MMO version will be, I am very happy. I am so tired of grinding for levels, participating in ad-nauseum raids groups, and repeated mob killings for the "uber-drop." I, for one, am glad to see a different approach / concept for an MMO.

Hopefully, this game will be everything that everyone expects it to be !! Very Happy

This game is a unique MMO. It was and is still, and you're drawn to it, I hadn't seen my Uru:ABM and PotS disks in years, and that's when I learned that this game was coming back. My brother was in prolouge back in 03', and I remember how fun it was to see. This is a great game with a nice no- awsome community that was willing to help anyone in need. It is by far the best game I've ever played.

Also good buys would be Myst 4 and Myst 5. Both are available on Amazon, and NEITHER come with the 10th aniversary package. Don't miss out on them.
