If Guilds are getting started up, it would make sense we get the Guild Hall opened up.

Yeah! I like to *walk down* from the cleft into the city.

As Zardoz says, "Wow, tough crowd."

Anyone who cares about getting The Shaft, please post here.

I would be extremely surprised if we didn't get the Great Shaft at all in 2007.

I think we means he want's the Sahft area "soon" in 07' rather than six months from now Smile I would personally love to get at least the shaft and possibly some PoTS stuff too.

I vote for both PotS and the shaft too. Anyway the shaft is also one of my big whishes, so a "soon" introduction would be very welcome.

Do you realize how long that would take? It's three miles times the circumference of the stairs. After you reach the bottom, it's still a ways into the city. I'm all for fitness, but it just seems like a long walk. That's your option, if they do open up the ramp. You can take the ramp, if you're so inclined. Personally, I'd take the elevator. The cutscenes would leave a lot more time for exploring.

Just my opinion.

I do care. I just didn't much care for the pun. Wink

We have the shaft in a limited fashion in To D'ni, and more detailedly in EoA, so it isn't much of a stretch for Cyan to integrate it into Uru. I think the greater problem is going all the way from there to the actual caverns. That would make for quite a trip, and for quite an effort of Cyan's to model and texture all those convoluted tunnels and smaller caverns…

I would love to be able to explore some tunnels, maybe even in the undergound of Ae'gura. The Shaft would be awesome, but I doubt that we will see it in 2007... it's still Myst V material published by Ubi, after all.

But do Ubi own the rights for it use? After all it is Cyan who designed and programmed Myst V?

I see your point and you are right. I want to walk from the Cleft inside the tunnel to the elevator, use them to get down and walk further through tunnels to the outer rim of D'ni.
