Ok. This... probably ISN'T spoily, but just on the severe off-chance that there's someone, somewhere out there who's not seen this, I'll be talking about...

The Kadish Pyramid
Now, I vaguely recall that when I entered the place for the first time, there were lights to the right and left of me that were green.

I just visited. They're not there.

Bug? Feature? Indication of something?

Good eye Moleculor.

I checked my offline PotS version and indeed the lights are there:

but in MOUL they are off.

This is probably just a bug since I can't see any reason why they'd be turned off story or content wise. Ticket it.

Yes, they usually rotate open as you enter the door. I think the cylinders on the door frame are KI detectors like in the Gareesen prison. I was in someone else's Kadish the other day and they didn't work. I thought it was because I was there.

Well, remember, they had to recreate much of the content from the ground up for the new physics engine that came with Uru Live. Maybe they just forgot to include those lights.

That is most likely.

That said, this topic should probably be moved to the "bug" section. Smile

They may be buggy/intermittent...

I think I recall them turning on when I walked into the pyramid the other day... but more often than not, they don't usually come on. Maybe it's the same kind of bug affecting the Eder Delin door puzzle... The lights don't seem to work after the first try... You have to link out and back in, etc. etc. etc.

well, they worked last time I was in Kadish - they actually don't light up, per se, but rotate up so you can see them - but they don't always do this. This is just like the very odd behaviour of the little red light that is on top of the reset button thingy (blue light) for the pillar puzzle. This seems to have been a kind of warning system for Kadish, that lights up if someone is already standing on a pillar when you try to use one of the levers, but I was riduculed for "seeing things" for three years as no one else but me seemed to be able to see it. Only a KI-shot pic of it working shown as proof seemed saved me from being committed. I think now that it only shows up for one person in the age and then only under specific circumstances and I think the same is true of the green lights. I haven't given it enough thought to be able to say exactly what those conditions are though. I don't think it is a bug.

nerf.

Yeah, I meant when I wrote my intial post, I remember seeing them in MOUL.

It's possibly an intermittent thing. Hm.

Well since beta opened, looking back to all the times I've run through that hallway on MOUL, I can't once remember it being lit. I didn't "notice" it per se, I just remember "stumbling" around a lot because I couldn't see anything. The fact that there had been lights there before didn't register.

I cannot recall a single instance when those lights have been on for me in MOUL.

Are the lights SUPPOSED to turn off when you finish the Kadish Pyramid puzzle. Maybe if you reset it and go through it again the lights would rotate back to on (like how the rest of the lights work in that building.)

i've noticed that when i am alone in the pyramid, the lights come on. When a second person comes, they go off. When the person leaves the pyramid, and i am alone (or if i leave and the other is alone) they come back on.

I havent tried it for 3 people or more, though...

Ok. I'm standing in the pyramid right now, and they're on. They were off no less than a minute ago.

Running outside and then back inside seemed to be the trigger.

(In fact, I just watched them rotate up into position. Even got a very short video clip.)
