Yeah, take the Maple Street exit, and go north. I would say go up to Wellsley or Francis and cross over (east) to Division, then go north again to the 'Y'. I'm not sure where U will be staying, but the Ramada is just past the 'Y'.

I will be putting together a list of motels, hotels that are along the Division Street corridor and maybe that will help. I am working on some maps now. I'll get those out as soon as I can.

my thanks to Ashtar, glad U R there. We will get this information out to you other folks so you can get it posted. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks so much for this guys. The pdf map is much nicer than the map my travel guide offers, so I'll print it out. My plane goes early tomorrow morning and I will try to get internet access once or twice while on the road (not sure when or where that will be possible). Will check this thread as shortly before our arrival as possible.

In case anybody else was wondering where the Ramada actually is...

Hi fellow avvies

It is Wednesday morning (11 AM), sunny and bright here in Spokane

I think I will be done with these maps later today or early evening. I will be contacting those who offered to put this information on thier websites, and I thank you very much for that.

This is taking a bit more time than I had figured. Just keep in mind that editing a map and adding text, landmarks, etc, is not as easy at it sounds, plus, I have to create two formats. One for 'screen. for a website, and one for 'print' for a PDF file, so it takes a while. I am not noted for putting out work that I am not happy with either, even so, these will be a bit rough.

My cousin and I (Cinders) will be taking a drive up north to Mead Friday morning to see if we can find Cyan. This will take a bit of time on our part as we both live in an area known as the 'Brownes Edition', which is located very close to downtown Spokane. Right now, I have no clue where Cyan is located, other than being in the Mead area. No, we are not gonna drop in, but at least we will know where the place is at. I have had many emails asking me this, and I really do not know. I am not sure how the folks up at Cyan might feel about this, but I already know that many of you have never been here before (in Spokane) and would not know how to get to Cyan. Nor does the Mystrium web say anything (hint). You might ask: will they find the place? heh..well, my cuz and I are both Native American..we don't get lost and we just have a way of knowing where we are going, worry not. *grinz*

Ashtar, Ling, Cinders and myself will do the best we can for all of you, we want your stay here in Spokane to be a good one, and memorable..in a good way of course.

Take care all, I'll get back to you soon..

I'm not from Spokane, but I've been there for Mysterium before. If you know where the Ramada Newport is located (north end of city), all you have to do is continue north on Newport Highway (Hwy 2) for about 3 or 4 miles (more like 3.5 miles), and Cyan is on the left side.

I've played with Google Maps a little, and got three screenshots of their location. Laughing

I really hoped to be there, but unfortunately can't make it. We intended to combine Mysterium with a visit to my sisters sister who emmigrated to Seatlle two month's ago. Ticket prices are skyhigh and we are only able to go for a week in July. A bit to short considering the prices Sad Sad because the opportunity was there and I really wanted to visit Cyan and meet you all.

We will be going to Seattle though, but only late September. And we do plan on cruising around a bit and visiting Spokane. When driving past Cyan I will close my eyes and imagine you all being there Smile

Have fun!!!

hey fellow avvies

It is Sunday morning here in Spokane, sunny and HOT!

I have all the information ready to go. Problem is, I don't know how to get hold of ya.

I have an information packet ready for anyone who is coming to Mysterium. Complete with step by step instructions and maps. All in PDF, however, these are large PDFs, and for some may take a while to download.

Sorry about getting down to the wire gang, but a lot of work went into this project and I'm sure when you see the maps, it will be worth it. If you want me to send you the packet directly, email me at my email addy:

jeremey_d_avatar@yahoo.com

I will respond as fast as I can, you will get the packet in 3 seperate emails.

Looking forward to hearing from you

By the way, if anyone can post this information packet on thier website, it would be appreciated. I do not have a website yet and this could make things faster and easier for everyone, including myself, if everyone could have access to the information. Someone had volunteered to do this, but I do not see the post anymore. Thanks!
