If you want to you can always goto www.guildofwriters.com and check out ages in progress in the forums. I have all of them downloaded myself. also trying, but failing(alot) at building my own. Rolling Eyes

Also for the people that voted not interested/not as good as cyans ages. might want to look up D'eux post on the guild of writers forum. He does great work.

Finally got it sorted and have now started to download the fan ages. 3 cheers for the GoMa, Andylegate and the creative folks at the GoW.

Wow, 60 percent of us have played fan Ages, I'm surprised! Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if I was sampling a subsection of the fan base that was unusually dedicated to all things Uru (this being the Off Topic section, after all, which not everyone reads). But still, wow!

Aw, no problem! I'm just glad you got it figured out. Smile Have you been to Zephyr Cove yet then, or Ae'rie? Those are my two favorites. And Camp Bravo. And Ahra Pahts.

Yes - I have a number of books in my lower shelf (using ULM). Joined up to GOW under different alias. About to have a look at your Blender tutorials, even though I have that strange beast two button + wheel mouse with thumb ball!

Hehe, wow, now that's a mouse! I'd guess that it would work fine though, or could be made to work; we'd have to try it out and see. Smile

And speaking of fan Ages...has everybody played the Ages of Ilathid demo? If not, you're in for a treat! Smile http://ilathid.com/setup.exe

As of yet I have only been to Camp Bravo day and night. I am waiting for later this evening (well tomorrow to be extact around 1 am) to download Aerie, Ahra Phats, Zepher Cove, Galamay, Paah' kweh and Prad. A lot of explorering to do.

No way Just down load and install it couldn't be that simple. I just checked out some of the the Guild of Writers site and it sounds too good to be true maybe I missed something, wow
I'm not a that computer literate either and I am kinda wondering if you have a something like "Installing fan-created Age in Uru:CC for dummies",
also the Complete Chronicals is that the equivalent to having both the Uru CD and Path of the Shell CD.

Please excuse my ignorance I'm told I make up for it in other area's

Wow you guys are awesome

We're working on it. At the moment the emphasis is on how to make an Age in the first place, so most of them are without puzzles or backstory. Once a sufficient number of us are good enough to turn out consistently stable Ages, then I think you'll see something a lot more interesting.

Played all of the available ages offline and also online in times of UntilUru
on the Alcugs testserver and love them... Very Happy

I've recently posted an instruction "Installing and exploring Fan Ages"
on the UruTunes/BeyondUru forums... Feel free to have a look over there
and get the exploring of new ages started within the beautiful environment,
that our Uru is... So, please, anybody interested have a look here... Razz

Tekno, I'm glad you liked the ages of my friends (Germans)... The ages "TaklaMakan" and "Janga", that
come along with quite a lot of journals and puzzles are available in german and english versions as well,
as far as I know, you just have to choose the right one... Very Happy

Yes I tried but never made it through the installation process. (too hard for me)

Nanouk my friend, you can do this easy as pie! Go to the www.guildofmaintainers.org/forum and in the Technical Section you will find a thread on Getting started. This thread will give you a walkthrough on getting setup. Lots of fun stuff there and you can even visit the MOUL ages as long as you haven't deleted your MOUL installation files.
