Shorah,

A new Liaisons Meeting Place's forum has been created at the Guild Of Messengers.

You will find a nice room at the back of our small Inn in the countryside. Laughing

It will be mainly about Liaison's work but friendly enough to accommodate all visitors.

With time, we will adapt our format to the demand(s) and we will do our best to make
your visit a pleasant one.

You, maybe but you should not use the word "we".

I understand that the word, "liaison" carries an unpleasant history with it for some people in this community, but it's the appropriate word for what we do, and maybe if we do it well, we can help erase its undeserved reputation here.

(I lobbied for the title, "Guildmaster's Gopher" but they wouldn't go for it). Razz

To clarify some things, The Liaisons Meeting Place is a project in the early stages that could be a place for the Liaisons of each Guild to share information and communicate easily in order to improve inter-guild relation.

The Liaisons are not representing the community, only the Guilds they serve. They are more like Spokepeople for the Guilds.
In the GoMe, we already have the following liaisons: Marten (GoW), Tai'lahr (GoG), Leonardo (GoMa), Blade Lakem (GoA) They act as GoMe representative in the communities they affiliated to.

As I said, The Liaisons Meeting Place currently is only for GoMe liaisons but if the interest is there, it could serve as a bridge between the GoMa and the GoG or the GoC and the GoW. More importantly, it could help for multiple guild projects: projects involving more than 2 guilds needing a tight coordination effort.

A similar subject was discussed at the GoMa and the outcome looks
pretty positive and full of promises...

As self appointed Slacker's Guild Liaison. I'm looking forward to this meeting place, and talking with others that Represent all the other guilds.

Wutt a great Idea!

Sorry folks but this has not been finailised, much more work need first, details to be sorted but as soon as we have something concrete, we will let you know. But hopefully you will agree that this could be one of the best, out of cavern places where all the community groups could communicte with each other on project matters and so on. Thank you

I did like your post at the GoMe.

Once you have finished with the "soap". throw it in my direction. Even though
I am not a slacker, I have been told many times to wash "my words".

Lets us hope that ("The Meeting Place")>>>>Edited to the "Liaisons Meeting Place", LMP,<<<<< becomes what you and me are wishing for.

Btw, thank you for the mighty nice video found in your sig.

Your second video is not bad. The new "Yeesha" is quite an attraction. Laughing

Me, might have to reconsider my decision not to play IC in the furure, Embarassed Rolling Eyes Laughing Wink

My favorite would be "Knock on Wood"........(Kadish type of wood, but served at "la Jalak")....

I think the idea of liaisons, representatives, or whatever other label you put on them is a good one. Better communication in MORE is, well, better. (more?)

I'll ask the members at the Guild of Healers about it and post something at GOMe. Thanks, Arctic Wagon, for the heads up.
