Wow...

So you're saying you went out and bought rimless glasses like Sarah Palin?

Oooo, nice!

I don't own one and have 3 versions of Myst now (only one of which works, that's masterpiece) but it's great to see progress.

Heh, I've had those glasses since I was a freshman in college many moons ago... they're nice and lightweight. No, actually I wanted to show everyone the pretty blue my wife and I painted in our living room, but the macbook camera isn't that good.

Is it wrong that the two things I wondered seeing that were "Have they gotten sound or transition/selection system down, or just display so far?" and "My that area is a nice blue"? Razz

Speaking of blue, looks like another job for the title fairy to bestow their blessing. Is it just me or all the Cyantists climbing into the public forum eye one by one now? Laughing
(Edit) Cripes that was fast! Nevermind... blue is spreading! Shocked Very Happy

Great to see this! Thanks! Very Happy

One worry: Will I need to use my little finger to navigate if there are only tiny hotspots? I find it very difficult to click accurately on some web links where they are only a word wide, for example.

Or is that a maintainer-type question, to be banished forever from this forum? Wink

Good question!
You will use your finger to navigate and do things. We will increase the size of hotspots for fat fingers when needed (I'm not referring to your fingers... just fingers in general are much bigger than a mouse cursor).

Thanks,

The ability to play sounds is working, and a few of the cards around the dock area have their ambient bird sounds and waves lapping against the dock in there. Transitioning between cards is also in, and includes 98% of all the cards in the game (a few are named with illegal characters that we need to hunt down). Age linking is working, as is showing correction images, like switches and doors and such. Basic logic for variable states (again, like doors and switches) is in there. Movies work on the mac simulator, but there appears to be a codec problem on the iphone itself which is weird since they're supposed to be identical.

All in all... things progressing nicely.

What's the resolution off the pictures on the iPhone? I heard of people having troubles with Myst DS with the Spaceship puzzle because you have to click the piano and the sound machine and the click zones are so very small here, even for a stylus.. Granted the iPhone screen is much larger but I'm still curious to see how that'll work.

Anyhow; nice work and thanks for the update! Smile
