Think of it as bird watching or an anti-"Where's Waldo." It could become very popular.

Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead after almost thirty-three years.

And it has now been five days and counting for Bodger's forum sit-in. What is he protesting?

Or alternately he's logging on periodiclly because for some odd reason it seems like YOU were on constant, and is doing his own sampling Laughing

Okay then, smarty pants, everyone should post their own observations of Bodger sightings here and let me get some sleep.

By the way, his website has an interesting tale of his walkabout drive and photojournal down from Alaska to most of the way around the United States lower states coastline in his Miata. Wow. Click on his profile to get there.

Perhaps he's doing the same thing here on these forums. Wink

A post! hooray!

Except, you know, to do a Bodger watch.. since Bodger seems to STILL be on, I suggest we do the *opposite*. As soon as someone logs onto the forums and notices Bodger is NOT in the list, post to this thread IMMEDIATELY!

Then we can finally once and for all prove JWPlatt is just paranoid Laughing

Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean Bodger isn't here all the time. Wink

It's been 48 years since production of the Ford Edsel ceased.

The Dodo is still extinct after more than 300 years.

And it's now 8 days and counting that Bodger has been online.

Maybe Bodger set the forum index as his home page and just keeps it open all the time? Very Happy

I think the currently on thing is only kept if you actively visit a page.

Maybe he has the forum mainpage on a contstant refresh to keep abreast of any new updates on MORE? Razz

It could also be one of those utilities used to keep the Internet access alive, even if you aren't there. (More useful on some dial-up systems.)

Some folks just leave their computers on 24-7. If you're supporting one of the distributed computing applications like SETI On-Line, this can actually make some sense. Just turn off the monitor when you aren't using it.

Has anyone thought to send a PM to Bodger to ask?

Exactly.

It's been seventy-one years, three months, and eleven days since Amelia Mary Earhart was captured by aliens and taken to a planet in the Delta Quadrant for slave labor.

And it's now thirteen days and counting since Bodger's marathon began...

Laughing

Well, I assume Bodger has seen this thread and if he wanted to tell us why, then I'm sure he would by now! The forum really should have an auto-disconnect after a certain amount of time. Rolling Eyes Maybe we could pm him? Wink
