Ahh, you are quite correct. The meaning of "this" did not refer to what it was pointing to, as one should expect of a link, but what it was pointing from. I get it. One would have to look through 17 pages of 248 posts total to verify that.

Only the words "never posted" should have been linked to reduce chance of confusion. This link would work better, but is still far too demanding by requiring the reader to scan even just four pages to look for an occurrence of this thread. Impatience and lack of instruction about the intended point might result in missing it anyway. "This thread" (i.e. without the link) would have been more meaningful and less work for the reader.

And where's the reference to whatever it was that ddfreyne wrote (not spoke, unless there's an MP3 somewhere I missed).
