WOW. Totally unexpected. Some have theorized on this here...ie, dreamed. Amazing. I can't wait to see how this evolves. Good luck to all!!!

Interesting. That certainly changes the landscape.

Ah, but which one?

That's what I call an experiment . . .. Hold on to your hats, folks. Depending on how the handoff occurs, I suspect there's the potential to have a real rough ride. Kinda make you nostalgic for the Liaison days . . .

This will indeed be very creative and energizing. I am glad that we have the opportunity. And I hope that solid guidlines are set up and the Guilds are involved so as to maintain quality.

i would think it would be similar to how uu was done. individual servers feeding into a main auth server at cyan.

and there SHOULD be something like that...cyan should still have more than a bit of control over things.

TODO:

1. Organize the restructuring of Uru/MORE/SOME. (this calls for all hackers, programmers, age creators, developers in the fan community that have worked on Uru, to meet in a more centralized location to discuss the future. With input from the non-dev community as well.
2. REMerge the lost DIRT concepts (shaft, caldera etc) back into Uru for a second choice for explorers to take as they start their adventure.
3. ReDesign the Nexus Interface so that its more intuitive and functional.

All I want to know is, will there be a way for Cyan to tell THEIR Uru story? Uru is more than servers and source code.

Seconded!
Oh, please Yahvo, let this be placed in the hands of the Guilds.
