Well, no one is allowed to write cannon, but Cyan.

I would see someting more like fan-made extended universe, but not canon. So you have more freedown when writing as you don't have to worry about conficting with what cyan might do later.

See the story more like "what could have happened" rather than canon, unless Cyan say otherwise.

If fans goofing off with KI Markers while base jumping can make it into the "Official" story then I have to say Canon is where you find it.

I had the chance to talk with the guy who did it or atleast claimed to have done it making a giant line of KI markers falling from the Bahro Cave. That happened all the way back in the dim reaches of the original Ubi Beta and quietly slid over into Canon.

Anyone or any group claiming benevolent dictatorship nah they don't need to worry about canon, that tends to take care of itself as long as people are having fun.

Yes, that was chucker's point that you didn't get the word order right the first time so you said "Lets see who is canon is firing at who. " In your original post, whose is the only correct form.

But really, who cares? I just want to know why we're firing Canons. What Canon product are we firing? Their cameras? Their copiers? Honestly can we go a week without having a large piece of office equipment being fired at people?

Expressed concerns in this threads varied theme runs across many other similar threads, across many forms, many times over. The questions of control and direction is a key concern to all. The real “Question” of direction and control by what ever means of a Uru Czar, Uru Community Counsel or Uru Guild Counsel, becomes more about those taking the lead in be half of the Uru Community having the integrity to be conscientious caretakers for us all. I keep waiting to see and find the talked about Guild Counsel made up of Guild Members being established to monitor submitted Age Stories before they reach Cyan Legal. I would like to see some "Officially" recognized group and system for polling the Uru Community here on Myst Online Uru Live by taking the core issues in these key thread topics to the Uru Community for a vote. Establish an Official Sticky Thread of posted voting results of key issues to decide what most feel and want for those in charge to consider. It would also help Uru Community members to get a better sense of what and where the Core Uru Community stands and believes. My frustration is over the lack any Community form threads ever seeing anything come of them. So many great ideas that repeat themselves over and over again across the many forms of threads only to fade away until reborn again, because there is no real Officially recognized power or authority to resolve them. Resolve them by having someone or group to boil these threads themes of issues down into a vote able poll to form a consensus. A consensus to help establish a basis of what the Uru Community is and wants. Well that my two cents worth. :
