I came across the following site on cho:

Unfortunately, this is only for the main island; not sure how to access hints for the other islands. It's interesting to compare these with the latest hint guide.

[EDIT] I stand corrected! The other worlds have hint pages; it's just buried deeper in the links.

There is of course always the Universal Hint System, which has hints to almost every game ever published.
