If for nothing other than humorous purposes, they should incorporate a /faint command. You & your friends approach the wooden bridge in the City & while you're hanging out there you type /faint. Your knees get weak, you put the back of your hand to your forehead & you sway a bit left & right & you collapse like a rag onto the ground.

It's either that or /projectile.

I don't want to start another thread for this so I'll stick it in here. We want toys, right? We want grown-up toys. So I suggest we put a catapult in the Ferry area. We could have it aimed so we can lob fellow players all the way to the top of the stairs, or at least halfway up.

Remember, it's not a game, it's a toy...like matches & gunpowder.

Perhaps incorperate this into a puzzle in an age or something.

However, that's one of the things I didn't like too much about Myst 3 and 4. they were too physical. You were always getting beat up, blown up, or shot.

Still, those were Ubi and Presto's people doing most of it. Who knows.

I like th catapault, although Cyan might be against it I mean I wouldn't want to fly accross the age in real life, they seem pesky sticklers for that sort of thing. I'm glad they made sure I can jump down 10ft of stairs and land perfectly and am impervious to all harm thats life like, unlike that KI command float I mean who can hover? Seriously?

The ‘flying thru the air’ bit started me thinking… a lot of us have played around with flymode at one time or another. Having the power – even for a short spell to soar up to a height and view ones surroundings could definitely have its advantages.

Myst IV had floating rocks in Spire and the catapult ride sounds wild. Maybe this is one for the guys at cobbs to look at they managed to come up with the stuff in the UserKI that gave the private Shards /skydive and /tentsmash.

What I posted up there would more likely be best served on another shard, not D'mala. D'mala is strictly Cyan & should be respected as such.

Anyway, I think a super happy fun slide could be made out of the Great Stairs median. Currently we can walk & sit on the median without slipping. If the powers that be made it so we slide when we "sit" on the median, that would be fun. Imagine getting up to 80 mph & slamming onto the pavement below! Wow! What a rush!

A few times, I'll kick a cone from the top of the median and it'll slide right down, pretty fast. Man, if I get a running start and hit one of those puppies just right, it goes flying. I mean, I'm talking 0-45 in like 1 second. Extreme cone-sports, man.
