I've followed Yeesha's/Kadish's Path of the Shell as far as the damaged library on Myst. Is there anything beyond this anti-climax?

Beyond the Shell Path itself? Not presently. But if you haven't solved the other journeys, there's still much stuff left to be done! :)

I have met several players who have few friends. Not everyone appreciates the social side of the Cavern.
It is the most wonderful addition to the original...to be able to hang out with friends and revisit favorite spots and find new areas to visit. After over two years of being complete the journey with more than one avi I still see things I never noticed before. It is a rich envirinment filled with fun people...enjoy it!!!

It's fine that Face in the Puddle Man underlined it: "to make new friend" because it can be obvious for those like me who have been around for almost 3 years or even more (for some explorers) but if I recall my first 2 weeks in URU (online), I was so shy I was linking out of Ae'gura as soon as I was greet by someone (surely really friendly).

You might not expect this from someone like me but this whole Online environment was fairly new to me. Posting a text on a message board like on this forum, that's fairly easy. You don't necessarily have someone behind their computer reading it (...well yes obviously in a certain way except there's a time lapse between).

Online, you have a feel of being watch. I'm on medication...don't worry (kidding)

So yeah, making new friends is quite an accomplishment for some. Then you get acustomized and see that you have common interests with other explorers and the friendships come naturally like in the real life finally

The way for me to unshy myself was to post on this board in the french section and I said: I, i'm new here and want some advices, some tips. Then, the rest of the story, you know it...
