Based on what I saw last night, GoG always has a steady flow of visitors however it never gets extremely crazy so that may work.

There could always be multiple parades... spread the load around.

There is a meeting in the German NULP hood on Thursday at 8pm GMT, 1pm cavern time. let's see if we can get this parade up and running.

We need helpers, marchers, spectators, etc. All Cyanists are cordially invited to be in the guard of honour and if Rand would once again be our Grand master that would be fantastic.

lets fill NULP:)

Shoot, I don't think I can make that based on my time zone...

Nor am I sure if I can get to a German area from the US...

I second that!

And, would 8 PM GMT be 3 PM eastern? I may actually be able to make that.

Yes.

Mid-day PST = 1 pm MST (KI time) = 2 pm CST = 3 pm EST = 8 pm GMT = 9 pm CET.

At the meeting in The German NULP hood last night, it was decided to hold the St. Patrick's day parade on Sunday, 21st. March at 11am cavern time, subject to US daylight saving time happening this W/E and Cyan adjusting the cavern clock:)

There will be three host hoods :-
The German NULP (NULP) rep Menolly KI#144188
The Meeting Place (TMP) rep Ilford KI#316832
The GameBoomers (GB) rep lor KI#122418

Everyone is more than welcome to march with any of the above hoods, just contact a rep via KI to register. PMs are being sent out to Cyan, hopefully Rand will agree to be our Grand Master once again, and other cyanists to make up the guard of honour.

The TMP (Meeting Place) is organising. We took part in Marches on every instance thats held a parade and we are sure not going to miss this one.

I have been asked to make a direct request to Cyan by way of a reminder that IF the Green Hats are available and will be switched on can they let us know either way. This will save us time if they are unavailable.

This message will be PM'd to Chogon and Rawa. The intention is only to ask IF they are allready there. We are NOT specificaly requesting Cyan to engineer new code.

The hood order has changed slightly to;

1 NULP

2 The Meeting Place

3 Game Boomers

More news as it comes in Smile

It's that time of year again, explorers! The in-cavern traditional Saint Patrick's Day Parade and party for this Sunday. Here are the details:

Sunday, March 21st, all times cavern time:

11:00am German NULP Bevin, contact Menolly KI:144188;
11:30am(ish) The Meeting Place Bevin, contact ilford KI:316832;
12:00pm(ish) GameBoomers Bevin, contact lor KI:122428.

Timings rely on how the previous march progresses.

We have invited some Cyanists including RAWA, Chogon, and Rand Miller but let me extend this invitation to all Cyan employees past and present. No promises though, folks, they are busy people. But thanks for the hats, Cyan! Smile

If you wish to march or just spectate please contact the above noted Bevin representatives and let them know in advance in case we need to close the hoods for marching. It would also be a good idea to download and install TeamSpeak3. We will be broadcasting on TS3 pelishard.net.

So let's get the green out, explorers! And thanks to SuperGram for her efforts in previous years gifting us with this terrific event.

See you all Sunday!

Is the parade time going to be adjusted since the KIs didn't change to DST, or is it still going to be at what is now 11am Pacific? I think we decided during the meeting to figure that out once we knew if the KI time would change, and now we know.

All times are GMT
