Has anyone been able to solve the Arkhane puzzles with a female avi? I couldn't - one critical thing was missing. When I sat on the bench in the main room, I couldn't see the can, so it was never clickable.

I found out by the walkthrough that it was supposed to be clickable, but since I couldn't do that I couldn't solve the age without cheating Sad

The male avatar cannot see it either in 3rd person. Most age writers forget to check their ages both in 1st and 3rd person. So if the writer is a 1st person player he would never see the flaw. This is one of the reasons why independent beta testing is important.

For the female avi, it's not visible in first or third, which is a pity, because otherwise the puzzles are very ingenious.

I don't remember exactly but I think in first person I had to look down to see it.

Sorry about the female avatar "bug" - I certainly never intended the Age to be male only!! Smile

Unfortunately I've not had time to do any Age writing for several months now (especially since MOULa came online!) but am planning to fix the shortcomings of Ahrkane in the near-ish future.

(oh and yes even the male avatars need to look down in 1st person mode to see the you know what)

I've been having the same problem described by katreeny where I am unable to view and click the hot spot from the bench. I'm not sure I understand the comments about looking down. Although I can see the item just fine when I look down while standing, as soon as I sit on the bench, I cannot see it. And if I move in any way while seated, I stand up again. So far, the item remains unclickable as long as I'm standing. Like katreeny, the only way I could click it while seated was to cheat. Confused

Is this situation peculiar to females? I got the impression that D'Lanor and ekimmai either aren't getting this behavior; or that they have found a different workaround that doesn't require a cheat. More details would be helpful!

You can look down by right mouse-click and drag.

Yes, this is how I look down while standing. However, doing this while sitting forces me to stand up again. So I seem to be stuck... Or am I missing something here?

Just in case this is relevant, I'm using a MacBook Pro, which requires me to use the touchpad for any right-click action (there is no inherent right-click key, although I can program one to act as such). So the two-finger touch-click-and-swipe on the touchpad for doing a Windows right-click-and-drag results in me (my avatar) standing up again. Is this the same result you get when you look down from the bench?
