Gratitude vs Complaints and Demands ! Let’s keep the fun !

January 18th, 2011… An unforgettable day in the City !
We were honoured by the visit of Rand Miller and a few well known veteran MOULa players we had not seen in a long time.

After chatting with Rand for a few minutes, we all witnessed a magical show of colored skies and grounds. Avatars were dancing in synchronized steps, jumping in the air cheerfully. The great Kerath’s Arch disappeared for a moment and was photographed near the ferry ! All of a sudden, Bahros were flying ! Of course, polemics started and everyone was an expert analyst on what could be happening…
This is the nature of man.

As for a lot of us, the event was really pure Magic and "Good, clean fun” as Ta'nee and Cell mentioned.

We spoke to the witnesses of these changing skies: for most people in the City that afternoon, this was great fun !!
Members of Jaruku's Bevin, one of the popular Bevins in the Cavern were, in general, amused by the event !
We, members of the DMR, also enjoyed the colored event that took place right before our eyes.

Take this opportunity to look on the bright side… We should not forget that the time we spend on this virtual place is due to the imagination, great talent and effort of the people of Cyan . This is a game for all ages to enjoy and newcomers login everyday !

URU live is still ahead of its time, stunningly beautiful ! Protest for the lack of new content is very easy. It is our responsibility to help and make it happen ! We must realize that the opening of new content requires intensive effort from a group of talented and skilled people in all areas. A few individuals cannot put together a game like this, it takes a crew !

So, let us do our part and show our appreciation ! Let us say “Thank you” to Cyan and

--------------------------------------------- D O N A T E ----------------------------------------------------

regularly if we want to see new content !

While we wait…
Let us take upon ourselves to keep our Bevins interesting and appealing by organizing various activities in the Neighborhoods, as we see in:

Jaruku's Bevin chat room with a very faithful and steadfast group of friends, open to everyone with solid guidelines, to keep a pleasant safe atmosphere during the evenings you may choose to spend there;

• Learn with the Masters by following Annabelle, Grimhilde, Susa’n and many other talented avis by going to unchartered grounds;

• Speak to Ural or Dadguy in the GoG… They know everything about the game !

• Ask Abjab for the latest News and Events ! You will receive wonderful pictures and you’ll be up to date with discoveries about the places you can go to. You will also get good advices and we thank him for his great humour !

• Go learn the Hebrew language in Hebrew Literacy Program’s Bevin. Take a Class with Christo !

And this is just to name a few of very active people keeping this game alive by having the imagination to keep the entertainment going... We all have a part to play in this !

We apologize for not mentioning everyone here, but you will find them there in the Cavern !
We would also like to mention Turjan and the D'ni Musicological Research Bevin where Music lives every saturday evening at 6:00 pm KI time and... Yes we advertise !

Yours truly,

As a fellow DMR member, broadcaster and promoter of our musical activities, I second everything Mouski and Christine said.

I am very appreciative that in a couple weeks, we will reach one year of open access to MOULa, thanks to Cyan.

What is still needed in the cavern is continuing support of Cyan and more participation in the guilds and other activities.

Shorah to all,

Musica

i'm grateful. i'm grateful that Cyan hasn't shut us down. rly, though the event was fun and upsetting (i do wish i could just stick with the fond memories of my first meeting with Rand but, alas, no) nothing has come of it... so far, and with no word yet from Cyan i suppose i'll just assume that they've shrugged it off. i no longer care whodunnit, i no longer care why; what i do care is that Cyan and Myst Online is still here, that the fine folks of D'ni are still comming and still returning. and i look forward to the continuing prosperity of Myst Online whether in the hands of Cyan or its illustrious fans!! with a new year and another project under Cyan's belt, i do hope that there are good things instore for Myst Online that will help move it forward!
and i do hope that there are great things instore for Cyan as well. so i'm grateful for Cyan, i'm grateful for Myst Online, and i'm grateful for all the fine people from all corners of the world i get to share it with. Cheers

Unfortunately I missed the events of That Which Shall Not be Named (my personal nickname, inspired by the complete and utter silence imposed on all discussions of It). It did draw lots of people to the Cavern, although that could also have been due to the presence of Rand. I am very thankful that Cyan hasn't shut everything down, as they have warned in the past that they might do.

But yeah, there are lots of things going on otherwise as well. Marker quests alone could take a lifetime to do. But I think one of the most important things is that a great community has been established, and in that way D'ni is being restored.

In keeping with many historic cavern events, I missed but another! Rolling Eyes As I so often do!

I did hear about and got pictures that confirm the events cool fun. Thanx to all for those shared snap shots.

I'm puzzled by what I see as a lack of interest to the efforts of what many have been doing in cavern to provide eventful content in many forms.
To my own efforts and posts, again I'm puzzled at the number of viewings generated that I guess testifies to shown interest.
But yet even with significant numbers to those viewing of my own efforts, I can't make sense to the lack of replys?
It just seems statistically number wise there would be more reply posts given all those viewing numbers.

I put it down to my lack of salemanship and political gaming savvy at promoting interest.
I probablly have my head in the sand, not wanting to deal with perhaps the fact that very few players have any interest in playing my Quest Games no matter how imaginative or creative I am at packaging them.
So I'm left to wonder if they just don't like Jalak & Quest game content as something to do and play in MOUL,a.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't shake the sense that MOUL,a is . . . perhaps starting to fade?

Don't get crazy! I'm just saying that with Deep Island and the other MOUL platforms (SL) to go play in that it might be contributing to less in MOUL,a.
Yet I have been told by others that they don't see very many players in the other places and they are more ghostly that MOUL,a is at times.
Any out there able to post here to confirm or deny this?

well, um... lack of reply's might have something to do with the fact that threads that discuss the matter tend to get locked
... prob because ppls speculation run amok and causes more harm than good...

there has been no word yet from cyan on the matter... if it hasn't come yet i'm inclined to beleive whether it has been resolved or not, cyan must not consider it much of an issue worth addressing... so quite honestly, good or bad, i'm rly not interested in what the deal was anymore; i'm just glad cyan hasn't seem fit to shut down...

it was fun, rly, but a paltry excuse to have the cavern maxed out... even durring rands visit the cavern wasn't maxed until he left after the weird stuff got started... it was interesting and exciting to say the least, but it came and went; we had our fun and now it's over so is it rly that much of a bfd anyway???
