Wow, that is very very cool that someone did that! I'll have to watch those.

Anyone interested in hosting Heritage Night 3 this coming Tuesday? The topic is the episode "A New Light". I'm willing to host it but I don't want to hog all the attention if others are interested in doing it. PM me if you took part in Gametap's MOUL and want to host HN 3 (or any other HN for that matter)

Just posting the announcement--the next Heritage Night will be this coming Tuesday, November 30th, at 16:00 KI time. Right now it looks like I will be hosting it. The topic will be the events of the episode "A New Light".

Below is the log for Heritage Night 3. We covered "A New Light", which was not a very story-heavy episode, so it was a short night. As usual, the log is still raw--no cleaning. The field trip this time was to the Watcher's Pub.

The next HN will cover the episode "Familiar Voices" and will take place a week from today at the usual time and place. DimensionTravelerCalum will be hosting.

(11/30 18:07:09) Carl Palmner: At any rate, the purpose of Heritage Night is to review the events of the Second Restoration.
(11/30 18:07:53) Carl Palmner: Tonight's topic is the second "PR week" month of the DRC.
(11/30 18:08:11) Carl Palmner: A week when we all began to feel "a new light" in the cavern.
(11/30 18:08:30) Carl Palmner: To briefly recap the relevant events...
(11/30 18:09:0Cool Carl Palmner: We had learned, during "Scars Week" the month before, that the Reziksehv predator was, in fact, a large group of Bahro.
(11/30 18:09:34) Carl Palmner: One of them appeared to have been responsible for the death of Wheely Engberg, which had resulted in her father leaving the DRC and disappearing.
(11/30 18:09:52) Carl Palmner: Sharper had discovered that the Bahro were in the middle of a civil war.
(11/30 18:10:04) Carl Palmner: We had heard nothing from Sharper, Nick, or the DRC in a month.
(11/30 18:10:30) Carl Palmner: Explorers were nervous, but fortunately there had been no more incidents of Bahro attacks--that we KNOW of, anyway.
(11/30 18:10:59) Omen: what is this civil war about
(11/30 18:11:05) Carl Palmner: On the first day of that week, the DRC happily made 2 announcements.
(11/30 18:11:20) Carl Palmner: Omen--we'll get to that, although not tonight I'm afraid.
(11/30 18:11:27) Omen: ok
(11/30 18:11:53) Carl Palmner: The first announcement was that Laxman had managed to restore certain functionality to the KI.
(11/30 18:12:25) Carl Palmner: In addition to collecting Markers for the Great Zero, which we had already been able to do, explorers would now be able to create their OWN Marker Missions, if they had progressed far enough in the Great Zero missions.
(11/30 18:12:59) Carl Palmner: I imagine most of us were so distracted putting Markers everywhere thaht day, we weren't even thinking about the Bahro Smile
(11/30 18:13:26) Carl Palmner: The second announcement was that the next day, Laxman would FULLY activate the Great Zero.
(11/30 18:13:35) Dra: and Er'cana... cough
(11/30 18:13:3Cool Dra: :p
(11/30 18:13:40) Carl Palmner: This would mean it would be fully calibrated and functional as it had been in the time of the D'ni.
(11/30 18:13:43) Dra goes into a corner
(11/30 18:13:59) Carl Palmner: And later that day, the DRC released the first new area of the week...
(11/30 18:14:04) Carl Palmner: The Watcher's Pub.
(11/30 18:14:12) Carl Palmner: Which is where we'll go right now!
(11/30 18:14:14) Carl Palmner: Very Happy
(11/30 18:14:17) Cal: Wheee....!
(11/30 18:14:17) Dra: oh neat
(11/30 18:14:1Cool Dra: xD
(11/30 18:14:22) Carl Palmner: For those who don't know how to get there
(11/30 18:14:35) Dra: MOUL1 really sounds fun
(11/30 18:14:35) Carl Palmner: Go to the Nexus, under City Locations, and choose "Watcher's pub".
(11/30 18:14:39) Dra: sighs
(11/30 18:14:47) Carl Palmner: I'll meet you there.
(11/30 18:15:07) Carl Palmner: (Cal, maybe you can stick around here for at least a few more minutes to redirect stragglers?)
(11/30 18:15:0Cool Nith (I'm on the surface, be back in a minute):
(11/30 18:16:32) Cal: You see, back before the second restoration, some of us managed to sneak down in here
(11/30 18:16:42) Cal: There was a lot of differences, like the collor for one,
(11/30 18:16:55) Carl Palmner pokes Cal
(11/30 18:16:57) Carl Palmner points
(11/30 18:17:06) Cal: And we called it "Sanctuary" because of the journal next to the er'cana and ahnonay bookds
(11/30 18:17:09) Cal: Books*
(11/30 18:17:23) Carl Palmner: I think Cal just usurped my next few lines Razz
(11/30 18:17:30) Cal: ^_^; sorry
(11/30 18:17:37) Strayer: thats funny, I just got back from that age
(11/30 18:17:51) Carl Palmner: No problem Smile
(11/30 18:18:25) Carl Palmner: As Cal was saying, this area was originally known as the Watcher's Sanctuary, and had been a part of Yeesha's Path of the Shell, before the Great Scream altered everything.
(11/30 18:18:41) Carl Palmner: So, for some of us, this area was not new--although some changes had been made.
(11/30 18:18:54) Carl Palmner: Among other things, the door on the top level was locked, and still is.
(11/30 18:19:21) Carl Palmner: Also, the translations of the Watcher's Prophecies were placed here.
(11/30 18:19:34) Carl Palmner: These had played a significant role in the old Path of the Shell as well.
(11/30 18:20:26) Carl Palmner: These contain prophecies of the future, dealing with the coming of the Grower, among other things--a person whom we now believe to be Yeesha.
(11/30 18:21:00) Carl Palmner: During the next few days, the DRC would often visit us here, in the Watcher's Pub, and it would play a significant role in later events as well.
(11/30 18:21:21) Carl Palmner: One event in particular--but you'll have to come next week to hear about that one, when Cal hosts.
(11/30 18:21:33) Dra: such a tease
(11/30 18:21:34) Dra: ha!
(11/30 18:21:36) Dra: xD
(11/30 18:21:59) Carl Palmner: As I said before, over the next few days we had several visits from the DRC, both here and elsewhere in the city.
(11/30 18:22:14) Cal: *still needs to review those old chatlogs* -_-;;
(11/30 18:22:50) Carl Palmner: Kodama spoke briefly with explorers, confirmed that the DRC believed the Bahro to be responsible for Wheely's death, and presented his own opiniong that even that fateful cave-in had been caused by them--which would make them, in essence, Rosette's killers as well.
(11/30 18:23:29) Omen: was it intentional or accidental?
(11/30 18:23:42) Carl Palmner: Laxman told us, among other things, that the DRC had visited Noloben, the Age referred to by the murderous Bahro.
(11/30 18:24:04) Cal: no-one knows still, to this day, Omen.
(11/30 18:24:10) Carl Palmner: Omen--no proof either way, although it's hard to imagine Wheely's death as being an accident.
(11/30 18:24:11) Omen: gulp
(11/30 18:24:22) hhhenry: Do you know the speaker of that age was the murderer??
(11/30 18:24:3Cool Omen: huh
(11/30 18:24:52) Carl Palmner: The DRC, at one point, had discovered a D'ni survivor on Noloben, whose description fit with Myst V's villain, Esher.
(11/30 18:25:03) Carl Palmner: According to the DRC, though, he was no longer there at the time of these events.
(11/30 18:25:26) Carl Palmner: Probably the most important visit that week was Cate Alexander's though.
(11/30 18:25:4Cool Carl Palmner: She came here, to the Sanctuary, and announced that Engberg was still missing, and had not been seen since his disappearance.
(11/30 18:26:12) Carl Palmner: As a result, the DRC was going to act under the assumption that he would not be returning soon, and was replacing Engberg with Cate herself.
(11/30 18:26:29) Carl Palmner: Needless to say, many saw this as a conflict of interest, since Cate was the main funder for the Resotration.
(11/30 18:26:31) Carl Palmner shrugs
(11/30 18:26:47) Carl Palmner: Personally, I don't see that it made much difference--by that time she was pretty much running the show anyway.
(11/30 18:27:19) Carl Palmner: Marie Sutherland felt rather strongly about it, though, and on that third day the two aired their dirty laundry in front of a large group of explorers.
(11/30 18:27:36) Strayer: lol
(11/30 18:27:43) Carl Palmner: It was rather unprofessional, actually--them arguing over Cate's position, and over the possibility of advertising in the cavern,.
(11/30 18:27:45) Cal winces slightly at the phrasing,
(11/30 18:27:56) Carl Palmner: Thankfully they eventually moved their discussion to a more private place.
(11/30 18:28:11) Strayer: thats good
(11/30 18:28:13) Carl Palmner: Of only slightloy less important was Sharper's visit.
(11/30 18:28:2Cool Carl Palmner: He came, on that same day (the third), to visit the Uru Obsession Bevin.
(11/30 18:29:01) Carl Palmner: He told the explorers there that he had made up his mind.
(11/30 18:29:11) Carl Palmner: The Bahro had killed Wheely, and so Sharper was going to kill a Bahro.
(11/30 18:29:21) Carl Palmner: Needless to say, this caused a near-riot among explorers.
(11/30 18:29:36) Szark is a bit upset...
(11/30 18:29:39) Carl Palmner: A few, like myself, were in favor of Sharper's plan. But most believed it unwise.
(11/30 18:29:4Cool Carl Palmner: I see now that they were right.
(11/30 18:29:4Cool Cal: riot? is that what it was called?
(11/30 18:29:50) Strayer is amazed!
(11/30 18:29:57) Dra: why were they right Carl?
(11/30 18:29:59) Omen: I'm pretty sure Yeesha wasn't too happy about that
(11/30 18:30:01) Cal rolls his eyes...
(11/30 18:30:06) Carl Palmner: Dra--you'll find out, next week Wink
(11/30 18:30:16) Dra: I'm pretty sure Yeesha doesn't like the bad Bahro more than us
(11/30 18:30:17) Dra: Wink
(11/30 18:30:20) Strayer: at what time
(11/30 18:30:25) Carl Palmner: Well, Omen, unfortunately Yeesha wasn't making any appearances, so no one really knew what she thought.
(11/30 18:30:47) Cal: *looks around briefly, then at the imager*
(11/30 18:30:56) Carl Palmner: At any rate, Sharper insisted that teh Bahro needed to learn they could not slaughter humans without consequence.
(11/30 18:31:10) Carl Palmner: But as I said, most people feared this would incite a deeper conflict between us and the Bahro.
(11/30 18:31:22) Cal: An eye for an eye makes the world blind, it's been said.
(11/30 18:31:2Cool Carl Palmner: The next day, we were given something else to think about.
(11/30 18:31:36) Carl Palmner: The Book stands you see over there...
(11/30 18:31:40) Carl Palmner points
(11/30 18:31:52) Carl Palmner: ...were empty when the DRC released this area,.
(11/30 18:32:04) Carl Palmner: But the next day, Cate placed the Er'Cana Book on the pedestal.
(11/30 18:32:26) Cal: My personal favortie age of 'em all, considering all the time I spend there. ^_^;
(11/30 18:32:29) Carl Palmner: And since that was the last important "Watcher's Sanctuary" event of that week, we'll finish up back in my Bevin.
(11/30 18:32:52) Carl Palmner: Let's go back to Carl Palmner's bevin now.
(11/30 18:32:53) Dra (I'm on the surface, be back in a minute):
(11/30 18:32:53) Szark (I'm on the surface, be back in a minute):
(11/30 18:33:54) Carl Palmner leans left
(11/30 18:34:00) Carl Palmner leans right
(11/30 18:34:09) Cal: welcome back everyone! Smile
(11/30 18:34:12) Carl Palmner waves hello
(11/30 18:34:23) Cal: refreshments are chilled in the fountain if you get thirsty. Smile
(11/30 18:34:3Cool From Cal: can't let people get thirsty, now can we?
(11/30 18:34:43) To Cal: Smile
(11/30 18:35:01) Carl Palmner: Everyone back and comfortable?
(11/30 18:35:13) Omen: i could use a pillow
(11/30 18:35:1Cool Omen: kidding:)
(11/30 18:35:21) Carl Palmner: Smile
(11/30 18:35:24) Cal: Shorah, everyone who's just joining us and those who are returning from Watcher's.
(11/30 18:35:26) Cal: Smile
(11/30 18:35:35) Carl Palmner: I'll continue then
(11/30 18:35:43) hhhenry: Think I saw a pillow in the fountain...
(11/30 18:35:51) Omen: OOOOOH
(11/30 18:35:53) Carl Palmner: As I was saying back in the Sanctuary/Pub, on the fourth day we were given Er'Cana.
(11/30 18:36:0Cool Carl Palmner: Many of us had actually been there before, as Yeesha had once included it in her "Path of the Shell."
(11/30 18:36:17) Carl Palmner: We found, however, that some changes had been made.
(11/30 18:36:30) Cal: There used to be a carving of a starfissure, for example
(11/30 18:36:40) Carl Palmner: The ovens, first of all, had been better calibrated to cook pellets for lighting the D'ni lake.
(11/30 18:36:40) Cal: in the alcove where the Shell portal is now.
(11/30 18:36:56) Strayer: nice
(11/30 18:37:09) Strayer: sry
(11/30 18:37:09) Carl Palmner: And there were far more Shell Cloths than before--such that completing Er'Cana now felt much like it feels to complete the original Yeesha Journey.
(11/30 18:37:43) Carl Palmner: We were told that the DRC intended to "light" the lake--by which I mean, restore it to its former glow.
(11/30 18:37:5Cool Carl Palmner: They encouraged us to find healthy recipes for pellets and drop as many into the lake as we could.
(11/30 18:38:01) Cal: and that's why I'm in er'cana every day! XP
(11/30 18:38:26) Carl Palmner: Later that day, Marie came to the city and gave us one last item--the Memorial.
(11/30 18:38:3Cool Carl Palmner: We visited it last week, when we honored Wheely Engberg.
(11/30 18:39:06) Carl Palmner: Sutherland had ensured that not only would Wheely's name be on it, but so would the names of other explorers who had been part of our community who had died.
(11/30 18:39:22) Carl Palmner: And there's one name in particular I want to point out, because it will become important in later Heritage Nights.
(11/30 18:39:32) Carl Palmner: On that memorial is the name Phil "phend" Henderson.
(11/30 18:39:45) Carl Palmner: Phil had been one of the DRC's employees during the First Restoration.
(11/30 18:40:06) Carl Palmner: He had taken Yeesha's Journey and seemed to have somehow become somewhat unhinged, mentally.
(11/30 18:40:16) Cal: it was the 'shrooms!
(11/30 18:40:26) Cal: From teledahn, one bite and he went crazy!
(11/30 18:40:34) Carl Palmner: And at one point, Sharper had stolen Phil's Relto Book in order to spy on the DRC.
(11/30 18:40:45) Omen: they were used to make a fancy bread i believe
(11/30 18:40:49) Carl Palmner: The unfortunate result of this was that, when a wall collapsed atop Phil, he had no way to escape.
(11/30 18:41:01) From Strayer: don't blame shroomie for this
(11/30 18:41:04) Cal: no body was found, though, just the smashed KI.
(11/30 18:41:05) From Strayer: sry
(11/30 18:41:10) Carl Palmner: Although his body was never retrieved, it was obvious that no one could have survived the collapse.
(11/30 18:41:2Cool Omen: maybe the bahro tried to save him
(11/30 18:41:3Cool Omen: and linked him out
(11/30 18:41:3Cool Carl Palmner: And so, years later, when Marie erected this Memorial to Wheely and others who had died, Phil's name was there also.
(11/30 18:41:5Cool Carl Palmner: Later that day, one more important event happened.
(11/30 18:42:19) Carl Palmner: An explorer had registered his KI under the name "Reteltee", which means "The Guilds" in the D'ni language.
(11/30 18:42:36) Carl Palmner: Reteltee was interested in restoring the D'ni Guilds, and as it happened, the DRC were interested in that same thing.
(11/30 18:43:09) Carl Palmner: Marie and Cate located Reteltee and invited him to meet with them privately to discuss how the D'ni Guild structure could be implemented among explorers.
(11/30 18:43:27) Carl Palmner: Many of you are familiar with the modern-day Guilds of Writers, Greeters, Messengers, Maintainers and Cartographers.
(11/30 18:44:00) Carl Palmner: It was in large part due to the DRC putting their heads together with Reteltee, who was later appointed their official Guild representative, that those Guilds exist today.
(11/30 18:44:1Cool Carl Palmner: But this was only the preliminary stage.
(11/30 18:44:29) Carl Palmner: We did not know yet which Guilds would be restored or in what manner.
(11/30 18:44:46) Carl Palmner: Finally, the fifth and final day of the DRC's PR week rolled around.
(11/30 18:45:07) Carl Palmner: Laxman came to the city docks, where he set up a strange device that acted as a kind of "lake light meter".
(11/30 18:45:22) Carl Palmner: Don't bother looking for this device today--it was later removed due to functioning incorrectly.
(11/30 18:45:2Cool Cal: poor Dalek.
(11/30 18:45:50) Carl Palmner: And finally, Sharper made one final visit--to the Bevins, and to the Watcher's Sanctuary.
(11/30 18:46:03) Carl Palmner: This time, explorers were more urgent and aggressive in their protests against his plans.
(11/30 18:46:15) Carl Palmner: Nevertheless, Sharper was insistant that he would go to Noloben.
(11/30 18:46:49) Carl Palmner: He would study the Bahro, get to know their ways, and when he could be certain which faction was responsible for Wheely's death--he would return. With a Bahro head.
(11/30 18:47:12) Szark cowers
(11/30 18:47:20) Omen: kind of lurid don't you think?
(11/30 18:47:24) Carl Palmner: And that was the last time we saw him--until the following month, when we finally began to experience what was REALLY going on with the Bahro.
(11/30 18:47:27) Carl Palmner bows
(11/30 18:47:3Cool Carl Palmner: Sorry, folks, I know this was a short HN.
(11/30 18:47:42) Szark claps his hands
(11/30 18:47:4Cool Cal: but it was a short, week, eh?
(11/30 18:47:50) Lindsay claps her hands
(11/30 18:47:52) hhhenry claps his hands
(11/30 18:47:53) Carl Palmner: And not a particularly exciting.
(11/30 18:47:55) Alphonse Godot claps his hands

(11/30 18:47:57) Josie claps her hands
(11/30 18:47:57) Polgara claps her hands
(11/30 18:47:5Cool beebee claps hands
(11/30 18:47:59) Strayer claps his hands
(11/30 18:48:03) Cal claps his hands
(11/30 18:48:05) Strayer laughs
(11/30 18:48:0Cool Omen: *claps his hands*
(11/30 18:48:12) Strayer: laugh
(11/30 18:48:15) Carl Palmner: The truth is, that week was more about new areas and activities than it was about anything exciting happening or any mysteries being solved.
(11/30 18:48:16) whitehelm claps his hands
(11/30 18:48:22) Omen: sorry don'y know how to clap
(11/30 18:48:23) Carl Palmner: But NEXT week--next HN will be much more exciting Very Happy
(11/30 18:48:29) hhhenry: That Laxman lake device can be found now in offline Uru
(11/30 18:48:31) Cal: Type "/clap" omen,
(11/30 18:48:33) Omen: I'll be there
(11/30 18:48:35) Alphonse Godot: type /clap
(11/30 18:48:35) Szark: not all episodes all going to be as exciting as others but they all play thier part
(11/30 18:48:39) Omen claps his hands
(11/30 18:48:44) Szark: thx Carl
(11/30 18:48:47) Carl Palmner: Oh! And I have a new Marker Mission for you all, of course.
(11/30 18:48:4Cool Strayer claps his hands
(11/30 18:48:55) Omen: oooooh
(11/30 18:48:56) Carl Palmner: Like the last two, this one is themed for the night.
(11/30 18:49:13) Carl Palmner: So remember the things that we talked about as you look for these Markers, which are all based around the events of that week,.
(11/30 18:49:22) tommyap: thanks Carl
(11/30 18:49:3Cool Carl Palmner: Feel free to ask each other questions and discuss things while I pass out the mission.
(11/30 18:49:50) hhhenry: They have markers in Noloben??
(11/30 18:49:56) Cal: no, no
(11/30 18:50:02) sunset: {EN} very good

Thanks so much for putting these on! I haven't made it to any of the Heritage Nights, but I'm seriously enjoying reading the chatlogs. These are the best MOUL summaries I've ever seen.

If I may, I move that these logs get edited down and then stickied somewhere as important history reading.

Who knows… Maybe we could even get them put into some notebooks in the City Library someday for new explorers to read! I wonder how much work that would take…

Thank you so much!

I didn't know what was going on in these days and as I am very new to MOUL I was until now only stumbling over ages and pieces of history I couldn't figure out. These summaries really help a lot!

And it also makes me a bit sad because as I understood there is not really a chance of these kind of story-lines to be continued now, am I right? Or at least not in the near future...

K'ara, be cautiously optimistic!

But all those older, more ambitious Ages still sit, waiting for the day when we can finish them. Which is why we haven't given up on Uru, and why we repeatedly say that we still have stories to tell here. We haven't given up on these Ages, either. We're just waiting for the resources to do them.

Someday…

Below is a log of Heritage Night 4, hosted by DimensionTravelerCalum and covering the episode "Familiar Voices". This log is heavily edited due to the massive amount of PM's that were conducted between myself and other explorers, many of whom wandered into HN by accident. I only deleted the PM's, so when you see the occasional newcomer asking questions about the game and receiving no answers, that means that I (and probably several others) helped them out via PM. Most of them ended up staying for Heritage Night--it was a great turnout, at one point I counted 25 people, and I don't think we were even at our peak yet. Calum did a fantastic job!

We are still looking for people to host HN5 and HN6. If no one else volunteers, I will host 5 and Calum will host 6, but we would prefer to have new hosts, for variety. The ONLY qualification is that you had to be a participant during Gametap MOUL and be willing to do a little research into what happened during the relevant week--you do not need to have been involved in even one single story event to host HN.

Without further ado, here's the log...
(12/07 18:04:43) Chat.log started...
(12/07 18:05:27) Carl Palmner: First, I want to quickly recognize our usher tonight, ural. Ural didn't know he was volunteering until about 10 minutes before we started, so feel free to toss him a special thankyou.
(12/07 18:05:4Cool Josie claps her hands
(12/07 18:06:01) Elana cheers
(12/07 18:06:04) SmilingOne tosses ural a special thank you

(12/07 18:06:14) Wewikk: farts
(12/07 18:06:23) Cuttin' Edge: ?
(12/07 18:06:29) Carl Palmner: Second, it's come to my attention that certain rumors may be going around regarding my "position" in the cavern, so I wanted to clarify any misunderstandings.
(12/07 18:06:59) Carl Palmner: For the record, neither I nor DimensionTravelerCal is associated with the DRC, Cyan, or any other official organization.
(12/07 18:07:52) Carl Palmner: I'm an explorer just like you folks--just one of the many lucky enough to have a little extra cash in my pocket during the last Restoration, who got to participate with many others in those events.
(12/07 18:08:12) Carl Palmner: Hope that kills any little rumors going around Smile
(12/07 18:08:42) Carl Palmner: Third, as usual I want to ask that people please keep questions and comments to a minimum until the end of the presentation.
(12/07 18:08:59) Carl Palmner: You don't have to be completely silent, but please remember that the host hasa lot of material to cover.
(12/07 18:09:32) Carl Palmner: Heritage Night, for those who don't know, is an opportunity for veterans of the Second Restoration to tell the story of those events for those who couldn't be there.
(12/07 18:10:07) Carl Palmner: Tonight, your host is DimensionTravelerCal, who has been instrumental in helping me put these events together and, before tonight, also acted as usher every Heritage Night.
(12/07 18:10:30) Carl Palmner: Without further ado, I'll turn the time over to Cal. Please give him the same wonderful respect you have shown to me.
(12/07 18:10:3Cool Alphonse Godot claps his hands

(12/07 18:11:33) Chance2120: Hello
(12/07 18:11:34) DimensionTravelerCalum: So, Tonight we're covering the week that was best summarized by three things:
(12/07 18:11:39) DimensionTravelerCalum: Bahr, Guilds and Pellets.
(12/07 18:11:46) DimensionTravelerCalum: Bahro, I mean.
(12/07 18:11:59) DimensionTravelerCalum: Also, please excuse any typos, I'm kinda nervous right now. ^_^;
(12/07 18:12:17) SmilingOne: no worries
(12/07 18:12:25) DimensionTravelerCalum: so, here we go, The first day of the week known as "Familiar Voices"
(12/07 18:12:35) Cuttin' Edge: Very Happy
(12/07 18:12:50) DimensionTravelerCalum: there's a reason it's called that, and I'll show why in a bit, but, Let's just say that it started out around lunch time,
(12/07 18:13:16) Musica: Very busy with 3 rehearsals and 2 Christmas concerts in the last week. They're over now,
(12/07 18:13:23) DimensionTravelerCalum: You might remember that Carl mentioned a Dock Lake meter that is no longer at the docks right now.
(12/07 18:13:49) Josie nods her head
(12/07 18:13:54) DimensionTravelerCalum: that dock meter, also known as Bob the Dalek to some explorers, was malfunctioning all the way through it's one month span of use
(12/07 18:13:54) Cuttin' Edge: Yes
(12/07 18:14:13) DimensionTravelerCalum: On the first day, Victor Laxman came to Ae'gura to remove the dock meter,
(12/07 18:14:35) DimensionTravelerCalum: It was a sad moment, but one many understood for technical reasons.
(12/07 18:15:04) DimensionTravelerCalum: So, our little Lake friend was...
(12/07 18:15:15) DimensionTravelerCalum: ^_^; thank you, please.
(12/07 18:15:27) DimensionTravelerCalum: Okay. then.
(12/07 18:15:40) DimensionTravelerCalum winces slightly...
(12/07 18:15:51) DimensionTravelerCalum: Okay, ah, Moving on...
(12/07 18:16:0Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: A Short time after our Dock Dalek was remvoed, Nick White came down to Watcher's,
(12/07 18:16:4Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: He had some news, He;d gotten a girlfriend on the surface (Good for him, thought some explorers), and that Sharper had returned from Noloben, and had been acting strange ever since.
(12/07 18:16:59) DimensionTravelerCalum: THAT got people's attention.
(12/07 18:17:14) DimensionTravelerCalum: Sharper had killed a bahro. Shot it dead.
(12/07 18:17:27) Brain: *gasp*
(12/07 18:17:47) Cuttin' Edge remembers Noloben and the bahros
(12/07 18:17:4Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: Questions immediately flew, Would we be targeted by the bahro in retaliation? Were they impartial?
(12/07 18:17:4Cool SmilingOne: whoa!
(12/07 18:18:11) DimensionTravelerCalum: this, well, these would be answered in due time, some of which would even be answered the next month,
(12/07 18:18:57) DimensionTravelerCalum: so, some time later, Cate Alexander, (good ol 'Lexie) Visited Guild of Greeters, She was looking for sharper.
(12/07 18:19:05) DimensionTravelerCalum: And so were a lot of people,
(12/07 18:19:34) DimensionTravelerCalum: Eventually, I suppose someone did find him and relay this message, as he showed up in Watchers later in the day,
(12/07 18:20:01) DimensionTravelerCalum: He made a few offhand comments about how he'd studied them, and verified that there were atleast two sides,
(12/07 18:20:19) DimensionTravelerCalum: one of those comments was along the lines of "It's not like they have red and blue eyes"
(12/07 18:20:42) DimensionTravelerCalum: But, regardless, Sharper insisted that he'd killed a bad bahro.
(12/07 18:20:51) DimensionTravelerCalum: PEople pannices, for sure now.
(12/07 18:21:01) DimensionTravelerCalum: "We're doomed! Oh No! They're going to kill us all!"
(12/07 18:21:07) DimensionTravelerCalum: Bah,
(12/07 18:21:26) DimensionTravelerCalum: Before people went to bed that night, Laxman visited a bevin somewhere,
(12/07 18:21:55) DimensionTravelerCalum: he announced that he had rigged the immagers to display people's pellet scores, for a bit of 'friendly competetion" between hoods.
(12/07 18:22:20) DimensionTravelerCalum: Regardless, despite the excitement of this, it wasn't enough to quence the worry from people's minds...
(12/07 18:22:23) DimensionTravelerCalum: Day Two.
(12/07 18:22:51) DimensionTravelerCalum: Lunch time rolled around again, and Sharper and Nick were in watchers again, with Sharper talking about his Noloben trip to explorers some more
(12/07 18:22:53) DimensionTravelerCalum: when, suddenly...
(12/07 18:23:00) DimensionTravelerCalum: "GET BACK!" Sharper yelled out.
(12/07 18:23:20) DimensionTravelerCalum: Two bahro linked in right ontop of the imager, In the very spot Carl was standing in last week.
(12/07 18:23:34) DimensionTravelerCalum: and they had the corpse of the Bahro Sharper had killed with them.
(12/07 18:23:47) DimensionTravelerCalum shakes his head
(12/07 18:23:55) DimensionTravelerCalum: There was panic, lots of it,
(12/07 18:24:05) DimensionTravelerCalum: but, somepeople were just... Currious.
(12/07 18:24:24) DimensionTravelerCalum: "It has Blue eyes!" One explorer commented, "You killed a good one!"
(12/07 18:24:59) DimensionTravelerCalum: now,due to sharper's Red eye blue eye comment, some people (And I think I was one of them) had gotten it stuck in their heads that the two sides were identified by red and blue eyes
(12/07 18:25:11) DimensionTravelerCalum: Regardless, It was true.
(12/07 18:25:15) DimensionTravelerCalum: It WAS a good one.
(12/07 18:25:29) Brain: how does anyone know?
(12/07 18:25:33) DimensionTravelerCalum: While we didn't find it out immediately, This was the following course of events:
(12/07 18:25:45) DimensionTravelerCalum: Sharper had lined up his sightes on a bad bahro, and fired.
(12/07 18:25:51) DimensionTravelerCalum: but this bahro, this good one,
(12/07 18:25:57) DimensionTravelerCalum: it jumped into the line of fire.
(12/07 18:26:21) DimensionTravelerCalum: sharper was shocked that the bahro had brought this body to the explorers,
(12/07 18:26:3Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: so much so that he he and Nick had to link away,
(12/07 18:26:4Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: "Don't touch it." Was one of his last orders.
(12/07 18:26:5Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: But the bahro stayed behind, crying, almost.
(12/07 18:27:05) DimensionTravelerCalum: Crying for their lost brother.
(12/07 18:27:19) DimensionTravelerCalum: Now, you've got to understand, despite this shock,
(12/07 18:27:29) DimensionTravelerCalum: this was one of the few times anyone would ever get that close to a bahro,
(12/07 18:27:49) DimensionTravelerCalum: Sure, we've all seen them in pictures, occaisonally on the volcano in the cleft.
(12/07 18:28:01) DimensionTravelerCalum: But these two bahro were right on the imager.
(12/07 18:28:01) Cuttin' Edge: No....there were many more
(12/07 18:28:15) Cuttin' Edge: in bevin anyway and the city
(12/07 18:28:26) DimensionTravelerCalum: Right, edge, of course,
(12/07 18:28:33) DimensionTravelerCalum: but at the time, this was an amazing thing,
(12/07 18:29:04) DimensionTravelerCalum: They were right infront of those lucky explorers, and someone even tried to touch one,
(12/07 18:29:2Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: of course, it let out a warning scream, and even looked dirrectly at him.
(12/07 18:30:17) DimensionTravelerCalum: they left watchers, body and all, a few minutes later,
(12/07 18:30:27) DimensionTravelerCalum: and then it started:
(12/07 18:30:35) DimensionTravelerCalum: Bahro were everywhere,
(12/07 18:30:4Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: Bevins, City locations, Heek, even RELTOS
(12/07 18:30:55) DimensionTravelerCalum: no-where was safe from them.
(12/07 18:31:13) DimensionTravelerCalum: Afterall, where would any place be safe when a creature can link at will?
(12/07 18:31:14) Cuttin' Edge: And around the Arch of Karath flying
(12/07 18:31:25) DimensionTravelerCalum: That's another time, Edge
(12/07 18:31:30) DimensionTravelerCalum: another story entirely. Wink
(12/07 18:31:30) Cuttin' Edge: oh
(12/07 18:31:43) DimensionTravelerCalum: *deep sigh*
(12/07 18:31:46) DimensionTravelerCalum: anyeways
(12/07 18:31:50) Cuttin' Edge: sorry
(12/07 18:31:54) DimensionTravelerCalum: The DRC released a few KI Mails,
(12/07 18:32:0Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: One warnning explorers to not touch or get near any bahro,

(12/07 18:32:42) DimensionTravelerCalum: Maintainers, Writers, Greeters, Messengers, and Cartographers,
(12/07 18:33:11) DimensionTravelerCalum: Good Ol' Lexie and Kodama were in Kirel when Explorers first linked in, announcing that this was their first step in reviving the guilds.
(12/07 18:33:14) DimensionTravelerCalum: er, sorry,
(12/07 18:33:20) DimensionTravelerCalum: the pubs themselves weren't released,
(12/07 18:33:26) DimensionTravelerCalum: only the Tshirts were,
(12/07 18:33:40) DimensionTravelerCalum: but, regardless, Explorers could still make their support known,
(12/07 18:33:46) DimensionTravelerCalum: and, speaking of, Let's head to Kirel now. Smile
(12/07 18:34:02) Cuttin' Edge salutes
(12/07 18:34:06) DimensionTravelerCalum: that's where a lot of important things happened as well. Smile
(12/07 18:34:19) Carl Palmner: If anyone doesn't know how to get to Kirel, feel free to PM me and I'll give instructions on how to get there.
(12/07 18:34:20) DimensionTravelerCalum: (To get to Kirel, please use the nexus and select "Kirel" From the first menu)
(12/07 18:34:27) DimensionTravelerCalum: I'll meet you there
(12/07 18:34:34) Carl Palmner: Actually, looks like Calum just covered it Very Happy

(12/07 18:38:30) DimensionTravelerCalum: You see, right where we are all standing,
(12/07 18:38:3Cool Wewikk: Private rooms
(12/07 18:38:45) DimensionTravelerCalum: A mischevious little Chibi0Bahro decided to play a game of "Tag"
(12/07 18:39:03) DimensionTravelerCalum: i myself had came by to see the place,
(12/07 18:39:13) DimensionTravelerCalum: It was packed, eaisly as many people now as there were then.
(12/07 18:39:1Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: And then...
(12/07 18:39:21) DimensionTravelerCalum: "BAHRO!"
(12/07 18:39:40) DimensionTravelerCalum: The little guy appeared somewhere, and disapeared again, only to reapear somewhere else.
(12/07 18:39:59) DimensionTravelerCalum: We were all searching wildly to find the guy, and, in the course of the chaos,
(12/07 18:40:04) DimensionTravelerCalum: i got shoved into this here corner.
(12/07 18:40:14) DimensionTravelerCalum: Guess what kept me from breaking my nose against the rock?
(12/07 18:40:27) DimensionTravelerCalum: Yup, that little bahro was right here,
(12/07 18:40:2Cool Cuttin' Edge: bahro
(12/07 18:40:43) DimensionTravelerCalum: i backed off immediately, as soon a si realized that i was staring right into it's eyes.
(12/07 18:40:56) DimensionTravelerCalum: But, I was amazed,
(12/07 18:41:01) DimensionTravelerCalum: i'd ran right into a bahro,
(12/07 18:41:07) DimensionTravelerCalum: Sheer, unposible luck
(12/07 18:41:19) DimensionTravelerCalum: The guy was small, maybe a head smaller than I was then?
(12/07 18:41:21) DimensionTravelerCalum shrugs
(12/07 18:41:36) DimensionTravelerCalum: In any case, It resumed teleporting around causing chaos,
(12/07 18:41:53) DimensionTravelerCalum: It was... Fun, to say the least.
(12/07 18:41:54) Carl Palmner: For those just coming in--this is Heritage Night.
(12/07 18:41:54) SmilingOne: did it have red eyes?
(12/07 18:42:06) DimensionTravelerCalum: No, all bahro have blue eyes, SO
(12/07 18:42:15) Carl Palmner: If you don't mind, please keep questions and comments to a minimum until the end.
(12/07 18:42:15) Malaclypse: Who inherited what?
(12/07 18:42:21) DimensionTravelerCalum: The red/blue eye thing was just sarcasam being taken literally.
(12/07 18:42:22) Hebrew Literacy Program: ok
(12/07 18:42:50) DimensionTravelerCalum: Regardless, the bahro had us running like rats in a maze
(12/07 18:42:57) DimensionTravelerCalum: It was playing with us,
(12/07 18:43:02) DimensionTravelerCalum: Probably only a kid,
(12/07 18:43:12) DimensionTravelerCalum: Just playing around withwhomever it could find.
(12/07 18:43:34) DimensionTravelerCalum: I imagine, though, that once we all organized ourselves,
(12/07 18:43:49) DimensionTravelerCalum: Managed to form a semicircle, and got everyone sitting,
(12/07 18:44:10) DimensionTravelerCalum: That it got bored, 'cause it left not long after that. Ah Well.
(12/07 18:44:21) DimensionTravelerCalum: fun as it was, there was still more going on.
(12/07 18:44:49) DimensionTravelerCalum: sharpher had announced that he was returning to Noloben, Marie came by Kirel again, and heek, even a relto page got found.
(12/07 18:45:17) DimensionTravelerCalum: But there was nothing, really, like the thrill of meeting a bahro, except for maybe...
(12/07 18:45:21) DimensionTravelerCalum shakes his head
(12/07 18:45:41) DimensionTravelerCalum: In any case, the day was topped off by the June Sparkly vanishing from existance.
(12/07 18:45:53) DimensionTravelerCalum: And it couldn't be found.
(12/07 18:46:01) DimensionTravelerCalum: Not anywhere.
(12/07 18:46:17) DimensionTravelerCalum: Well, here is where I WOULD ask you all to head back to the bevin,
(12/07 18:46:2Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: But, I think I'll stay here for a bit more.
(12/07 18:46:33) Carl Palmner nods his head
(12/07 18:47:02) hoodedwarbler12: I just got here. Which Bevin is it?
(12/07 18:47:07) DimensionTravelerCalum: Okay then,
(12/07 18:47:1Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: day four was August 2nd,
(12/07 18:47:31) DimensionTravelerCalum: And Jalak Dador was released.
(12/07 18:47:43) DimensionTravelerCalum: and there, my friends, was the Eighth Sparkly.
(12/07 18:47:45) Carl Palmner swoons. Jalak! Very Happy
(12/07 18:47:51) From hoodedwarbler12: I know

(DimensionTravelerCalum suffered a brief seizure here and Linked to his Relto to take some seizure medication. Or something like that. What really happened, of course, was that his computer crashed)

(12/07 18:50:0Cool hhhenry: Where was spark 8 before?
(12/07 18:50:22) Carl Palmner: Still with us, Cal?
(12/07 18:50:32) Malaclypse: Got it Smile
(12/07 18:50:42) hhhenry: Bahro's got his tongue
(12/07 18:50:51) SmilingOne starts to laugh
(12/07 18:51:15) Carl Palmner: Cal? Say something if you hear me...
(12/07 18:51:20) Brain: Is there a continuation?
(12/07 18:51:49) Brain: Maybe his game crashed.
(12/07 18:51:49) Carl Palmner: Sorry folks. Looks like Cal suffered a brief minor seizure before going back to his Relto.
(12/07 18:51:51) Josie: crash?
(12/07 18:51:51) Gahlen is a bit puzzled...
(12/07 18:51:55) Chance2120: Are we done?
(12/07 18:52:04) Carl Palmner: (OOC: By which I mean, of course, that his game crashed)
(12/07 18:52:05) Brain: yes, we are well-done. lol
(12/07 18:52:14) Carl Palmner: He'll be back within a few minutes, I am sure.
(12/07 18:52:16) apophis2029 sneezes
(12/07 18:52:27) Alphonse Godot: linked to the desktop age
(12/07 18:52:36) Wewikk: Lol wut
(12/07 18:52:37) Chance2120: HAHAHA
(12/07 18:52:39) Malaclypse: Gotta run -- sorry!
(12/07 18:52:40) Carl Palmner: I've seen a copy of Cal's speech and I believe we are almost (but not quite) finished.
(12/07 18:52:57) Carl Palmner: In the meantime, anyone know what the purpose of this area is?
(12/07 18:53:09) hhhenry: ususally Imodium helps
(12/07 18:53:12) Brain: not really.
(12/07 18:53:12) Chance2120: larning
(12/07 18:53:13) SmilingOne: joining guilds?
(12/07 18:53:22) Carl Palmner: Chance and Smiling are both right Smile
(12/07 18:53:30) Nith: Free clothes?
(12/07 18:53:34) Carl Palmner: There is a booth for each of the 5 Guilds.
(12/07 18:53:57) Chance2120: how do you join a guil?
(12/07 18:54:03) Brain: take a shirt.
(12/07 18:54:07) Chance2120: guild
(12/07 18:54:11) Carl Palmner: Last Heritage Night we talked a bit about Reteltee's meeting with the DRC. The 5 Guilds the DRC chose to implement were loosely inspired by that meeting.
(12/07 18:54:16) Musica: This is where the all-guilds meeting is and promotion of guild participation is
(12/07 18:54:21) Wewikk: Takes a *****
(12/07 18:54:2Cool Carl Palmner: Chance--depends on how one defines "joining", really.
(12/07 18:54:34) Wewikk: I mean shirt
(12/07 18:54:36) Brain: shirt, not ****
(12/07 18:54:41) Chance2120: interesting
(12/07 18:54:50) Carl Palmner: There are shirts here that you can take to support your favorite of the 5.
(12/07 18:54:59) Omen cheers
(12/07 18:55:00) Carl Palmner: Each Guild also has its own website and forum, created by explorers.
(12/07 18:55:04) Ventus: Like this... unfortunately colored one I accidentally grabbed
(12/07 18:55:14) Wewikk: So pick my faviote *****
(12/07 18:55:21) Carl Palmner: And of course people can join more than one Guild, although the DRC has asked us to only wear one Guild Shirt at a time.
(12/07 18:55:2Cool Chance2120: so where do you learn about the guils?
(12/07 18:55:3Cool Chance2120: guilds
(12/07 18:55:44) Carl Palmner: Chance--the books here in Kirel are an excellent resource for that.
(12/07 18:56:04) Carl Palmner: You can also Google the Guild you're interested in to find their wesbite.
(12/07 18:56:07) Carl Palmner: *website
(12/07 18:56:13) Brain: i have a question. why isn't the wall in gahreesen playable anymore? that game was fun.
(12/07 18:56:29) Carl Palmner: Brain--the wall broke during the Great Scream and was never fixed, unfortunately.
(12/07 18:56:46) hoodedwarbler12: The Guild of Writers is the one I'm in.
(12/07 18:56:4Cool Brain: what's the great scream?
(12/07 18:57:13) Wewikk: Pain omplicics
(12/07 18:57:15) Carl Palmner: The Great Scream is what started off the Second Restoration--a multi-Age Bahro scream that "reset" all of the Ages, and the cavern.
(12/07 18:57:40) Carl Palmner: Hmmm, Cal still hasn't turned his KI back on.
(12/07 18:57:41) Brain: that's interesting.
(12/07 18:57:44) Carl Palmner: I hope he's all right.
(12/07 18:57:49) Chance2120: where are the books about the guilds?
(12/07 18:57:57) Brain: on the desks.
(12/07 18:58:01) Carl Palmner: Chance--there is one in each booth.
(12/07 18:58:14) Carl Palmner: Ah, there we are. Cal just turned his KI back on.
(12/07 18:58:34) Chance2120: where are the booths?
(12/07 18:58:49) Gahlen: He's in Relto.
(12/07 18:58:54) Gahlen: Doubtless here soon.
(12/07 18:59:01) Carl Palmner: Just got a message from Cal. Some of you may have received it as well.
(12/07 18:59:0Cool Carl Palmner: Looks like his KI crashed as well.
(12/07 18:59:11) Brain: i'll be afk.
(12/07 18:59:22) Ventus: It's Y2KI
(12/07 18:59:53) Chance2120: sorry for the silly questions
(12/07 19:00:10) Carl Palmner: Thery're not silly questions, they're very good ones.
(12/07 19:00:30) Carl Palmner: You know, I think the best thing about the week we've been talking about was all the Bahro appearances--especially the personal ones.
(12/07 19:00:44) Chance2120: so where are the books with the guild books?
(12/07 19:00:46) Carl Palmner: There were several explorers who even had Bahro appear and interact with them in their Reltos.
(12/07 19:00:56) Carl Palmner: There were KI-shots and chatlogs to verify their stories.
(12/07 19:01:04) Chance2120: booths I mean
(12/07 19:01:05) Gahlen: Yes, it must have been fascinating.
(12/07 19:01:06) Omen: WOW!
(12/07 19:01:07) hoodedwarbler12: Wow!

(DimensionTravelerCalum Linked back in after resting up from his ailment at this point)

(12/07 19:01:13) DimensionTravelerCalum: Sorry about that everyone,
(12/07 19:01:1Cool Josie: yay, he's back
(12/07 19:01:26) hoodedwarbler12: I've heard of people seeing them in Pod Ages.
(12/07 19:01:2Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: My KI just went bonkers on me (OOC: My computer crashed)
(12/07 19:01:41) Alphonse Godot: wb Calum
(12/07 19:01:47) Carl Palmner: I was not privileged to be one of them--although I did get to be up close and personal with the Bahro during the Sanctuary Incident, that Calum mentioned earlier.
(12/07 19:01:4Cool Gahlen claps his hands
(12/07 19:01:49) SmilingOne: wb

(12/07 19:02:56) Omen: sorry, had to say that
(12/07 19:03:04) DimensionTravelerCalum: Okay, as I was trying to say before my KI 'sploded,
(12/07 19:03:41) DimensionTravelerCalum: The sparklies back then were monthly, unlike today where they're all on at once.
(12/07 19:03:44) Omen: hope its insured
(12/07 19:04:09) hhhenry: where was spark 8 before?
(12/07 19:04:12) Omen: what about the June Sparklie

(12/07 19:05:52) Omen: bye
(12/07 19:05:59) DimensionTravelerCalum: in any case, Sharper showed up in Watchers that day, wearing a Yeesha TShirt and announcing that he was NOT going to Jalak again.
(12/07 19:06:01) DimensionTravelerCalum: er
(12/07 19:06:02) DimensionTravelerCalum: not jalak
(12/07 19:06:04) DimensionTravelerCalum: Noloben.

(12/07 19:11:56) DimensionTravelerCalum rolls his eyes
(12/07 19:12:10) DimensionTravelerCalum: okay then,
(12/07 19:12:16) DimensionTravelerCalum: the final day of Familiar voices,
(12/07 19:12:29) DimensionTravelerCalum: Ae'gura is the place,
(12/07 19:12:45) DimensionTravelerCalum: you all remember the memorial imager, right?
(12/07 19:12:51) Josie: yes
(12/07 19:12:53) DimensionTravelerCalum: the one with names on it?
(12/07 19:12:55) Alphonse Godot nods his head
(12/07 19:12:5Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: well, one name is important
(12/07 19:13:03) Elana nods her head
(12/07 19:13:04) DimensionTravelerCalum: because he is not dead.
(12/07 19:13:19) Carl Palmner gasps
(12/07 19:13:24) Carl Palmner Smile
(12/07 19:13:26) Wewikk: Wtf
(12/07 19:13:30) Josie: why is his name there?
(12/07 19:13:43) DimensionTravelerCalum: I mean, really, one can't get more alive than standing ontop of a building rooftop surrounded by bahro
(12/07 19:13:44) Leighana: it's not, anymore
(12/07 19:14:11) DimensionTravelerCalum: you see, in 2004, Phil was in a colapse, wall fell on him, everyone thought he was dead
(12/07 19:14:16) DimensionTravelerCalum: hence why he was on the imager,
(12/07 19:14:32) DimensionTravelerCalum: but, he was alive,
(12/07 19:14:39) DimensionTravelerCalum: and everyone was shocked, and concerned
(12/07 19:14:47) DimensionTravelerCalum: (He was on top of a building afterall)
(12/07 19:15:05) Josie: bahro took him there?
(12/07 19:15:11) Carl Palmner nods his head
(12/07 19:15:12) DimensionTravelerCalum: you see, he had been svaed by a bahro when the wall colapsed, and had spent his time with them.
(12/07 19:15:34) DimensionTravelerCalum: unfortunately, his... mental state was a bit... worse compared to before.
(12/07 19:15:44) DimensionTravelerCalum mutters "The colors man... the colors"
(12/07 19:15:54) Carl Palmner starts to laugh
(12/07 19:16:05) DimensionTravelerCalum: any questions dirrected at him were replied to with riddles.
(12/07 19:16:0Cool Chance2120 laughs
(12/07 19:16:11) DimensionTravelerCalum: on the bahro subject?
(12/07 19:16:24) DimensionTravelerCalum: "Here too?"'
(12/07 19:16:29) DimensionTravelerCalum: they were everywhere,
(12/07 19:16:41) Wewikk: Is that phil related to phils relto
(12/07 19:16:4Cool Carl Palmner: Wewikk--yes Smile
(12/07 19:16:5Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: free to do whatever they wanted. And the skys in some worlds, even Releeshan, the new D'ni home world, were blackened by their wings alone.
(12/07 19:17:12) Chance2120: bye
(12/07 19:17:22) DimensionTravelerCalum: And then Sharper showed up
(12/07 19:17:3Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: "Phil! It's true! You're alive!?"
(12/07 19:17:59) Wewikk: Plays the portal song
(12/07 19:18:15) DimensionTravelerCalum: it was now that Sharper let out his conscious, first apologizing for taking his relto book (Found in the spyroom)
(12/07 19:18:33) DimensionTravelerCalum: and then asking about the bahro, and why one had killed wheely...
(12/07 19:19:04) DimensionTravelerCalum: "This is only the begining" Phil said. A War had been started when the bahro had been freed. And ut was escalating.
(12/07 19:19:14) DimensionTravelerCalum: "I was afraid of that" Sharper said it best for all of us.
(12/07 19:19:33) DimensionTravelerCalum: sharper then mentioned the bahro that had jumped injfront of his gun
(12/07 19:19:37) DimensionTravelerCalum: phil's reply?
(12/07 19:19:55) DimensionTravelerCalum: "They protected ys all from you making a mistake."
(12/07 19:20:01) DimensionTravelerCalum: Us all*
(12/07 19:20:02) Carl Palmner is sorta bummed...
(12/07 19:20:1Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: The side Sharper had almost ignited a war with had chosen Evil
(12/07 19:20:21) DimensionTravelerCalum: 'Very Evil"
(12/07 19:20:45) Wewikk: Darth sharper
(12/07 19:20:47) DimensionTravelerCalum: and sharper confessed that the reason he wasn't going to Noloben was that he was concerned the bahro were comming here.
(12/07 19:21:17) DimensionTravelerCalum: phil gave some warnings about Preparing, and
(12/07 19:21:27) DimensionTravelerCalum: One very, very cryptic message:
(12/07 19:21:30) DimensionTravelerCalum: "He is comming"
(12/07 19:21:37) DimensionTravelerCalum: "HE will return"
(12/07 19:21:40) DimensionTravelerCalum: Who was he?
(12/07 19:21:59) DimensionTravelerCalum: did we do this by moving the pillars? and Will the bahro kill us all,
(12/07 19:22:07) DimensionTravelerCalum: Those three questions were on all of our minds,
(12/07 19:22:15) DimensionTravelerCalum: But the first more so than everything.
(12/07 19:22:32) DimensionTravelerCalum: surely, you all remember a dream, of Yeesha mentioning "They are comming" and "He is comming"
(12/07 19:22:3Cool Carl Palmner nods his head
(12/07 19:22:4Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: This had us concerned
(12/07 19:22:53) DimensionTravelerCalum: The They were obviously the bahro,
(12/07 19:22:56) DimensionTravelerCalum: But who was the he?
(12/07 19:23:03) DimensionTravelerCalum: We wouldn't know until later,
(12/07 19:23:13) DimensionTravelerCalum: (Glances at his KI* Wow... okay, time to summerize:
(12/07 19:23:27) DimensionTravelerCalum: what happened this week? Three words: Bahro, Guilds, and Pellets.
(12/07 19:23:44) DimensionTravelerCalum: and, I suppose, PHil too,
(12/07 19:24:01) DimensionTravelerCalum: this was a warning, A Cap stone of weird and bizarr,
(12/07 19:24:14) DimensionTravelerCalum: a Storm, very dry, titan in mass, was comming,
(12/07 19:24:3Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: death and destruction was comming, via the hands of the Darkened, twisted side of the bahro.
(12/07 19:25:01) DimensionTravelerCalum: who Was He? The Great King who was sealed in his tomb?
(12/07 19:25:10) DimensionTravelerCalum: The very one that Phil had mentioned before his "Death"?
(12/07 19:25:29) DimensionTravelerCalum: or was it the strange D'ni man from Noloben that Esher from the Myst V Game had been based off of?
(12/07 19:25:36) DimensionTravelerCalum: Or, perhaps,
(12/07 19:25:41) DimensionTravelerCalum: Was it someone else entirely?
(12/07 19:25:52) DimensionTravelerCalum: strangely, though, due to that strange dream,
(12/07 19:26:02) DimensionTravelerCalum: Many of us knew that Yeesha herself would come as well,
(12/07 19:26:06) DimensionTravelerCalum: It was a comfort, to some
(12/07 19:26:23) DimensionTravelerCalum: but, until She and He and they arrived,
(12/07 19:26:26) DimensionTravelerCalum: We would never know.
(12/07 19:26:3Cool DimensionTravelerCalum: and that, my friends, Was Familiar Voices.
(12/07 19:26:47) Nith cheers
(12/07 19:26:4Cool Josie claps her hands
(12/07 19:26:4Cool Musica claps her hands

Thanks, Carl and Calum for putting this on (and Ural for ushering)! Wish I could have been there when it happened. Both the real thing and the heritage night. Smile

Sorry about the double post…

Carl, would you and the Heritage Night folks mind terribly if I edited these chat logs into a straight narrative and then reposted them in the History and Myths section? As I said before, these are the best MOUL summaries I've ever seen (there have been details I didn't get in others) and I think they need to be saved for the future.

Certainly that's fine! We didn't cover every single little detail, but I like to think we hit all the high points.

Still looking for someone to host the next HN. The topic is the episode "Deception". Anyone? Anyone?
