Anyone interested in hosting Heritage Night 3 this coming Tuesday? The topic is the episode "A New Light". I'm willing to host it but I don't want to hog all the attention if others are interested in doing it. Just posting the announcement--the next Heritage Night will be this coming Tuesday, November 30th, at 16:00 KI time. Right now it looks like I will be hosting it. The topic will be the events of the episode "A New Light".

Maybe you should get someone to holdit in th DRC bevin, the first bevin. I have an avvi who's a member, but might not make it.

Below is the log for Heritage Night 3. We covered "A New Light", which was not a very story-heavy episode, so it was a short night. As usual, the log is still raw--no cleaning. The field trip this time was to the Watcher's Pub.

Thanks so much for putting these on! I haven't made it to any of the Heritage Nights, but I'm seriously enjoying reading the chatlogs. These are the best MOUL summaries I've ever seen.

If I may, I move that these logs get edited down and then stickied somewhere as important history reading.

Who knows… Maybe we could even get them put into some notebooks in the City Library someday for new explorers to read! I wonder how much work that would take…

I didn't know what was going on in these days and as I am very new to MOUL I was until now only stumbling over ages and pieces of history I couldn't figure out. These summaries really help a lot!

And it also makes me a bit sad because as I understood there is not really a chance of these kind of story-lines to be continued now, am I right? Or at least not in the near future...

Below is a log of Heritage Night 4, hosted by DimensionTravelerCalum and covering the episode "Familiar Voices". This log is heavily edited due to the massive amount of PM's that were conducted between myself and other explorers, many of whom wandered into HN by accident. I only deleted the PM's, so when you see the occasional newcomer asking questions about the game and receiving no answers, that means that I (and probably several others) helped them out via PM. Most of them ended up staying for Heritage Night--it was a great turnout, at one point I counted 25 people, and I don't think we were even at our peak yet. Calum did a fantastic job!

We are still looking for people to host HN5 and HN6. If no one else volunteers, I will host 5 and Calum will host 6, but we would prefer to have new hosts, for variety. The ONLY qualification is that you had to be a participant during Gametap MOUL and be willing to do a little research into what happened during the relevant week--you do not need to have been involved in even one single story event to host HN.

(12/07 18:18:57) DimensionTravelerCalum: so, some time later, Cate Alexander, (good ol 'Lexie) Visited Guild of Greeters, She was looking for sharper.

(12/07 18:19:34) DimensionTravelerCalum: Eventually, I suppose someone did find him and relay this message, as he showed up in Watchers later in the day,
(12/07 18:20:01) DimensionTravelerCalum: He made a few offhand comments about how he'd studied them, and verified that there were atleast two sides,
(12/07 18:20:19) DimensionTravelerCalum: one of those comments was along the lines of "It's not like they have red and blue eyes"
(12/07 18:20:42) DimensionTravelerCalum: But, regardless, Sharper insisted that he'd killed a bad bahro.

(12/07 18:22:51) DimensionTravelerCalum: Lunch time rolled around again, and Sharper and Nick were in watchers again, with Sharper talking about his Noloben trip to explorers some more

(12/07 18:23:00) DimensionTravelerCalum: "GET BACK!" Sharper yelled out.
(12/07 18:23:20) DimensionTravelerCalum: Two bahro linked in right ontop of the imager, In the very spot Carl was standing in last week.
(12/07 18:23:34) DimensionTravelerCalum: and they had the corpse of the Bahro Sharper had killed with them.

(12/07 18:24:59) DimensionTravelerCalum: now,due to sharper's Red eye blue eye comment, some people (And I think I was one of them) had gotten it stuck in their heads that the two sides were identified by red and blue eyes
(12/07 18:25:11) DimensionTravelerCalum: Regardless, It was true.
(12/07 18:25:15) DimensionTravelerCalum: It WAS a good one.

(12/07 18:25:33) DimensionTravelerCalum: While we didn't find it out immediately, This was the following course of events:
(12/07 18:25:45) DimensionTravelerCalum: Sharper had lined up his sightes on a bad bahro, and fired.
(12/07 18:25:51) DimensionTravelerCalum: but this bahro, this good one,
(12/07 18:25:57) DimensionTravelerCalum: it jumped into the line of fire.
(12/07 18:26:21) DimensionTravelerCalum: sharper was shocked that the bahro had brought this body to the explorers,
(12/07 18:26:3 DimensionTravelerCalum: so much so that he he and Nick had to link away,
(12/07 18:26:4 DimensionTravelerCalum: "Don't touch it." Was one of his last orders.
(12/07 18:26:5 DimensionTravelerCalum: But the bahro stayed behind, crying, almost.
(12/07 18:27:05) DimensionTravelerCalum: Crying for their lost brother.
(12/07 18:27:19) DimensionTravelerCalum: Now, you've got to understand, despite this shock,
(12/07 18:27:29) DimensionTravelerCalum: this was one of the few times anyone would ever get that close to a bahro,
(12/07 18:27:49) DimensionTravelerCalum: Sure, we've all seen them in pictures, occaisonally on the volcano in the cleft.

Carl, would you and the Heritage Night folks mind terribly if I edited these chat logs into a straight narrative and then reposted them in the History and Myths section? As I said before, these are the best MOUL summaries I've ever seen (there have been details I didn't get in others) and I think they need to be saved for the future.
