Is there a downside to deleting this file or can it help if you're experiencing problems? I read something about this way back but cannot remember the details. Embarassed

Nope. No downside. the file will be recreated when you log on. (The software checks to see if anything is different...and hence will find the missing file and "repair" it.)

If it has administrator rights on the folder it is in, especially by Vista and 7 this is important.
