I'm currently trying to find a way to save the pictures that were sent to me.

Is there a way to copy them on the computer?

Yes, there is.

I use a program called WhoM, which I found on these forums (I'll look for it again and link to it here)

It connects to your KI while you're offline (you can't connect to your KI while you are playing)
and allows you to access most of your KI:
* Buddy list and shows if they are online
* KI Mail and will open pictures which you can export as Jpeg files
* Nexus info for example how many are in each of the public ages

I find it very useful and wouldn't be without it now.
