Hey y’all, before I get to the meat of this thread, I’d just like to say it's good to be back, I’ve been away for... what? A year now? Something like that. I can't say I really missed this place specifically but I did miss some of the people who frequently inhabit it. but anyway, I must do a little bit of Social Engineering of a Fictional World.

EDIT: I realized i forgot to explain here, I want you to chose a scenario and elaborate on it.
//* WARNING: the following post contains my prognosis of the world, with some artistic license of course. *\\
Scenario 1:
You are a working-class citizen of the Great City of Haven; you comfortably live in one of the many apartment complexes in the inner most reaches of Haven. Throughout your day, you hear whispers of the fantastical nature (“Did you hear [The Company] has perfected teleportation?” & “my Nephew who works at [The Company] came home the other day with a bottle of vitamins that quadruple your IQ”)…
Scenario 2:
You are a Civil Servant [Policemen, Solider, etc.] of the Great City of Haven. You stand ready to protect those you love. One day your Boss/Superior offers you a promotion of sorts: the pay raise is minute but the position is unimaginable. He tells you, in complete confidence that you will do unimaginable things, things that he has seen but cannot begin to fathom words to explain…
Scenario 3:
You are a Student at Haven University: forty hours of your week are spent at school, another forty is spent working at [The Company] to pay off your student loans and living expenses. This however leaves you overwhelmed, unable to function during the weekdays and sleeping the weekend away. A thought crosses your mind, you know that [The Company] has been working on mental stimuli…
////////* End My Thoughts *\\\\\\\
Basically, elaborate on the scenario you chose (in any way you seem fit) and post the reply here. Any input would be much appreciated.

Oh I love this! Let me see how I can connect these stories. All of the people you mentioned exist within the same world and time. The nephew who is working at the company meets the student there, and they form a tentative friendship, the nephew teaching the student the ropes of the job, since he has more experience, and the student getting slightly less stressed. Then, the policeman who got the promotion is brought in, completely unaware what he will be doing. Since the student has been doing so well, she is chosen to be the policemans PA. However, the policeman's work and "unbelievable" activities are classified. The policeman and the student balance on a precarious ledge where the policeman tells the student enough to do the job, but not enough to puzzle out what exactly is happening. The student then shares her knowledge with the nephew, who has slightly more knowledge because he is higher up in the company. The story is then told from the perspective of the nephew, puzzling out what the hell is happening from discussing the bits of info he gets from the student with his family member, the working class citizen you mentioned.

I think I connected all the dots right Wink. Someone else may fabricate what exactly he puzzles out and how.

Good to be back Jevasi,
and the Bookerville project has been dead for a while due to me moving sixty-billion times in a year and losing funding, and not being able to contact the rest of the team.
