Right then! I'm hiding!

The first one to find me has to prove it by posting an image of the same object, but slightly different so we know it wasn't just copied. Then it's your turn. Post a picture of your hiding place.

Rules:
1. The location can be anywhere in MOULa that can be reached without skydiving.
2. The image has to have a unique feature in it. No pictures of blank rock walls.
3. Cropping is allowed but the image has to be reasonably recognizable or you face the wrath of the other players!

(This game branches off my "Rock and a Hard Place" marker game. You can look at it as your chance to get back at me Very Happy. See this thread: http://mystonline.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=24678 )

Looks like a lot of fun. For those of us who don't get into the cavern as much as we'd like, would it be possible to add, in a spoiler fields perhaps, exactly WHERE you found the hiding spot?

Added the already discovered hiding places, sideshow and all interested... Please, say if this is ok, Deck,
maybe others don't like to see it for whatever reason...... Very Happy

Edit: I just thought I put the hiding places into extra spoilers for those who don't want to see them... Smile

janaba1's Hiding spot
Rooftop in Ae'gura. Do you have any idea how many places I went that had red lighting and pedestals? URU has a LOT!

Where am I?

(Couldn't figure out how to do those spoiler tags properly.)

Is it true that Cavern has a history of Sardines being played?

I've played a few games of Sardines in the City. Not for a while though. I guess I haven't been in the Cavern when any were going on.

I like the idea of listing the hiding spot locations. I agree they should be in spoiler tags. Smile

These are great! I'm still trying to find exactly where those pictures were taken.

Hey Janaba... How did you manage to get such a sharp image of that Ahnonay picture?

Aww, alswaiter, and I thought it was quite easy ... Razz

Sardines is an explorer created game similar to but a little different from hide&seek and is
being played for years, I believe since UntilUru or even before ... There's a nice description
in a topic called 'Games to play in the cavern', provided by Drakmyth a year ago...

As of your spoiler tags, they're perfectly set...I just like to label those since I've learned how
to do it a couple years ago...

To label your spoiler tags and avoid the 'Click to reveal spoiler' label just write whatever you like
after an equals sign added to the left tag like this
This is how you label a spoiler tag
it will look like this then
This is how you label a spoiler tag
You can do the same inside the spoiler tags --> wrap the highlighted chosen text/picture in tags
(with or without new labels) and you're done... Very Happy

@Deck:

I suppose this is due to my new computer and graphics card... Smile

Ah, Sardines was not created by an explorer. This is a version of Hide and Seek that I preferred growing up. I don't know the origin and don't know where I learned it, but it certainly predates URU. That much I do know.

I actually mentioned Sardines to a bunch of explorers about a month and a half ago without knowing it's history in Cavern when we were having an Age Party. You can't imagine how tickled I was when I was invited to play a couple of weeks after that, thinking that it was word of mouth from my mentioning. Knowing that there is a history of playing it in Cavern, dimmed that excitement a bit, but I still love playing it. Smile

I made a KI Note explaining the way that Sardines works and how it is usually played in Ae'gura. I'll have to dig it back up.

Lately it's been hard to find a group of people to play, but it's so fun when you do find people.

I'm often up for a game of Sardines if I'm around and not busy doing something else. It's exactly the kind of thing a community of explorers in D'ni would do when resting from exploration and gathering together. And it is fun. Good way to meet new people too.

Nice, you would care, Josie ... Razz

I believe I've been looking everywhere, I've even taken the rides through Er'cana and
through Ahnonay again which was lots of fun though, but as nobody seemed to care
and the whole being about to vanish into oblivion I thought I'll let it disappear then ...

But NOW that you're asking already haha, I'm poking you, dearest Karkadann, to be
so kind to provide us with a tiny little or even a slightly bigger hint ... We deserve it, really ... Very Happy

Oh, you're right, Josie, I forgot to mention that I have a big cookie box in my backpack
as well as some ice cream, a coffee thermos and hot chocolate ... I could quickly order
a pizza if you prefer something more savory and tasty ... Very Happy
