Ok, I'd like to try to organise the return of the pod parties.
Here's what I propose:

(I spoilered it so because the way the pod parties happen now is different to this way, but I didn't want to just delete it. For information on how the pod parties happen, read this post.)

• The pod parties start from the first portal on a Saturday to the last portal on a Sunday KI time.
  
• The pod parties start an hour before each portal is due and I share the relevant book (Edited ... see next post)
  
• It doesn't have to be me sharing the book, but it would have to be one person sharing with everyone who wants to attend the party. (Edited ... see next post)
  
• Those who need it, go through, those who don't ... well who says the party has to end there?
  
• After each portal we move to next party (unless it's a long gap) until the last portal on Sunday.
  
• There is no obligation to join a pod party to get the portal, but it might be more fun if you do.
  
• Meeting point is the map in the city.
  

There may be a few reasons why a pod party may not happen:
If there is a meeting in Kirel (or other big event that clashes)
If there is a door run at the same time ... I'd say miss the door run and go for the portal instead, there can be a door run at any time.
If the server is down for any reason ... Boooo

I'd like to trial this starting this weekend and if they work ok & prove popular enough, we'll take it from there.

A slight change to how I'm organising the pod party.
Instead of having an avatar standing in the museum to share a pod book,
I'll have that avatar send out invites instead.
Either post here with your KI number or send Pod Party (KI 13046184) a KI mail with your avatar(s) KI numbers and I'll get invites sent out.

Starting things off with KI invites makes the event lose some personality. Try to start things off by personally inviting everyone via Relto, and then send out invites to stragglers or in the event of a crash. Having a huge herd of people filing through a neighborhood and your Relto does a lot to spur good feelings and camaraderie. Of course a pleasant side effect is that if people see a neighborhood that's teeming with people, they're going to drop in to see what's going on, and suddenly you'll have a few more people who don't normally check the forums or imagers.

Also... the first portal on a Saturday until the last portal on a Sunday? That's quite a long time... around a thirty hour period, I believe? Just the three to four hours required to go through one "sweep" can get exhausting, don't push yourself too hard, or it'll take it's toll on you and the people who are along for the ride!

So the next pod party will be on the regular day of Fridays.

Each week will be a different location:
1st Friday each month - Negilahn
2nd Friday each month - Dereno
3rd Friday each month - Payiferen
4th Friday each month - Tetsonot
any month with a 5th Friday will be feature a special location .

I'm unsure what time to host the party at as it's not easy to find a single time slot that can cover Europe & US time zones.
If anyone can make a suggestion for a time slot start and finish that covers all US & European timezones ... please do

Some time before Friday I will make a decision on a time based on any suggestions I receive.
The party will start at 13:00 KI on Friday (that's 20:00 BST)

Party starts at 13:00 KI and will continue all night (my night, that is) so that those in US time zones can party too.
The party may move on to the city at some point.
