-- your Operating system and video card info

Windows XP Pro, nVidia GeForce 8500 GT /512mb. I'm on 10mbps DSL.

-- Patcher version

1.902

-- Error message(s) (if any)

None

-- MOULa install location (may be helpful in narrowing down some things)

Default

-- Can this problem be reproduced? If yes, what action(s) trigger this problem

The first time I complete an age and enter the door to link to Rudenna, the screen briefly flashes the server connect, and then the screen stays black. It does not download the Rudenna files.

If I use Task Manager to close the program, restart MO:UL, and make my way to the door again, it works after some hesitation. This has happened to me in three of the four URU ages now.

Edit: It takes about 15 seconds for the first server connect to pop up, and it's gone in only a moment. I was able to get past the error on the second try in Kadish and Teledahn, but it took three tries in Gahreesen.

I suppose I should be thankful for all the practice jumping those gaps to Gahreesen's Rudenna gate, since I have to do it again for the endgame.... Rolling Eyes

I may have found my own answer. I tried deleting the TOS file, and then later when I was collecting fireflies to finish up Eder Gira, I found that I could not touch the Journey cloth or the steam lamp. So I deleted the TOS file again to fix that problem. After that, I didn't have any more problems getting back to Rudenna.

Sorry I did not respond earlier. I was originally going to suggest deleting it, but I thought from your description that you had all of the files. I guess one could have been corrupted though. I'm glad you got things working!
