Hey Everyone!
I figure it's only one year to go until Myst's 20th Anniversary (2013), and I thought I should get a head start on the competition, just in case there was hubbub close to the Anniversary/Mysterium Date. I have reservations about posting this, but I figured, what the hey, I might be too late later.
Presenting the Rough Draft of MY Myst 20th Anniversary Logo!
Now, there are a few subtle symbolic references I wanted to add to the logo, something that the long-time fans could recognize:
There are other drafts of this picture, but I won't post them until later.
The original intent is to give this to Cyan for them to use on their various Myst products if they wanted to rerelease them in a 20th Anniversary Package. However, in retrospect, this situation would be a bit hard if I wanted to earn money from it.

*The "lights " around the whole thing have a double meaning. They are firemarbles representing:
(from top, clockwise)
Myst
Riven
Exile
Uru
Revelation
End of Ages
*The D'ni text is an integral part of the Myst series, even though it wasn't actually created and featured until Riven. The text, when translated literally, says:
"Creating Worlds from Stories for 20 Years."
This is extremely integral because not only did the Miller brothers create a gigantic world from the start of a simple story, but in the realm of fiction, in a sense, the D'ni did as well. Every age they wrote, they created a story about the life of the world, system, or universe within the pages of a book up to the point that they completed it. Even though they didn't write the ending outright, it was still hidden in the complex writings describing the world.
There are other drafts of this picture, but I won't post them until later.
