I don't wanna repeat the entire topic here, so I'll just provide a link to it. Very Happy

http://uruobsession.com/forum/index.php/topic/36332-watchers-pub-jacket-and-relto-book/page__view__findpost__p__612796

I'm working on a replica of Kadish's Watcher's Pub Jacket, the one you find in his Ahnonay Maintenance Office

So far, the jacket isn't complete, but I've got all the fabrics, paints, and parts that I'm looking for. (Including real leather for the cuffs.)

I'm hoping to complement that with a Relto Linking Book replica for a convention in San Antonio on August 5th, 6th, and 7th.

I might add a KI replica to the list, but I can't make any guarantees...

Ohhh, what an amazing project, T-Aquared... Razz

Besides the awesome beauty of that Jacket I'm thrilled 'watching' you passionately
collecting all the details, fabrics, accessories and other lovely paraphernalia for the
completion of this extraordinary and superb piece if art...

How blessed this Hobby Lobby Jo-Ann store unknowingly is to unconsciously,
massively contribute to this and thus to our all pleasure and delight ...

Besides that, maybe you know or like to see what awesome artworks precious fellow
explorers have brought about already

Yeesha

Yeesha again

Katran/Catherine and more Catherine

and last but not least (Yeah, Ladys first, Sir... hehe)

Awesome Atrus

However, thanks for sharing, T-Sqared... Go on having fun and I can't wait to see the
final results of your creativeness... Very Happy

The Jacket is COMPLETE! (Well, not totally, because we rushed a bit for the convention, and forgot to hem the sleeves and bottom of the jacket...)

All of the sewing credit goes to my mother, because she stayed up so long (from 10:00 P.M. to 10:00 A.M. the next morning!) to finish the jacket for the convention.

NEWS FLASH! THEY HAVE THE COSPLAY VIDEO UP! 8D

The video is here: http://www.san-japan.org/forum/showthread.php?681-In-case-you-missed-the-show... (In order to see me, you have to go around 51:16. Yes, that's Minutes AND Seconds)

Ohhh, wow!!! This is first class and superb, T-squared, brilliantly designed ... I so love the Great Tree ... /a big thumbsup ... Very Happy

And even more thumbsups and a big Kudos are due to your wonderful mother... what an astounding effort and
outstanding achievement ... As of the sleeves' and the jacket's hem, I wouldn't have noticed this upon first sight
if you hadn't mentioned it ...

This is a great and excellent debut to the reopening of the Creativity forum ... Thanks for sharing, T-squared... Very Happy

REALLY impressive, T-Squared! I love, Love, LOVE the shirt/jacket! The time you spent planning and selecting has really paid off, and great praise to your mom for doing all the sewing. I hope you feel a thrill every time you realize you are the ONLY person in the world walking around in that jacket, coveted by so many. Thanks for the photos.

Sorry to dig up such an old thread. I'm working on this little project again to complete it. The jacket no longer looks like this.

*The arms and bottom of the jacket are pinned at the moment, to hem them later.
*The "Bib" on the back has been removed to be redone:
**The colors on the Great Tree logo will be painted over again to make them richer and less blotchy. I've had good results in darkening the outer blue space to bring the sky-blue "leaves" into focus.
** When we were first making the bib, we literally glued the fabric together onto the back with Stitch Witchery. That made the back of the jacket VERY uncomfortable, to where air could not penetrate it.
*The collar has been removed to attach a more substantial one later. (An extension on the back to accommodate the previous collar will also be removed to make room for the newer one.)
*The stitiching holding part of the left navy-blue strip on the front has been removed to attach a section of light gold fabric that we missed the first time around.

The Relto Book is in planning stages again. This time, I have the leather I was originally going to use for the brace sleeves on the jacket. Very Happy It was too small and too thin, though, so I've decided to use it for the cover of the Relto Book.
