I'm most interested in actually how we play. Will it be based on role-play forum-esque posts? Will it be live? What will it be?
I think it'll be up to individual groups of players and game masters as to how to play it. RPG systems such as FATE developed out of a tradition of people playing face to face around a table together, and that's still the most common way to do it. So if you lived somewhere with a good concentration of fans, getting 3-5 of you together to play once a month is an option. However, with the advent of the internet, it's a lot easier to move play online if you're not in an area with other fans, can't find the time for a regular playthrough and would prefer to do it in an asynchronous manner, etc.
I've never personally played in a game with a pen and paper rule system and dice rolls over forum post. I'm sure it can be done, but it seems like sessions would take longer because you might have to wait a few days for the result of dice rolls. I have played one over the internet where people got together in a Google+ hangout, used a Google Docs document to write up what their characters were doing, used a browser plugin to roll the dice, and used the voice chat to socialize, ask rule questions, and generally be OOC. So it took place in a set-aside session of real time, but it was held online and there was a forum-post-like record of what people did, rather than just memories and written notes, unlike a lot of live games. Both are perfectly valid playstyles.
tl;dr: it can be live, or online, it depends on each group! there is no ONE way
