Many discussions on this abound, and I hope to not be too redundant in my replies on the two forums...
To start, this -is- a DRC approved age, as we got it from them, with a KI mail telling us they were making it available to us. I think the lack of a stamp is a mere oversight after yesterday's snafu in the rush to get the books back out there. Old books were originally used, and new ones had to be generated. There may be some DRC personell swinging by with their trusty rubber stamp any moment now to correct this oversight.
The spiral is not a journey Yeesha has -told- us to go on. It could be a distraction from Yeesha's path by the DRC since they gave us the age. Aside from Gahreseen, the other ages are not DRC approved, and we are told in Beginners Bevin to not use books not DRC approved, and this one -is- DRC approved....
I'm not totally convinced it's from Yeesha, but I'm not entirely convinced that it isn't either. It does add to our Relto, and from what I understood, no one else knew about that age but Yeesha. I could be wrong on that. I would think since it does add a wedge to our Relto Yeesha approves somehow.
The spiral itself reminds me of sparky and the spiral bridge rock. Could they be related somehow? Also, recall where we got the spiral bridge page? The firepit in the desert, in Yeesha's beginning for us. That could have been the clue from her that the spiral cloths were also from her, lack of speech or not. Is it possible as well...Yeesha left a message for us that was somehow altered by the DRC before releasing the age? Could there have been written words that were erased or removed?
The point of the journey could have indeed been to learn to work together, as Yeesha has said in a speech the Guilds in D'ni set them up to become proud and hungry for power. We are all also separating into Guilds/Groups/Hoods. Maybe the point was to show us we will still need to work together, without pride.
It could also be a lesson in patience and timing. Timing is everything, and patience is the true key to the door in my experience lol Those would be big lessons for the proud to learn. Humility in asking someone else for help is also a large lesson for someone who may be proud. Letting us know we may not be able to complete the journey alone.
