I found this along time ago, but it seems most I've mentioned it to thought I might be alittle crazy Rolling Eyes

Look in the right hand corner. Kinda looks like a town of sorts.

If you zoom into it. you can see what looks like holes(or windows)

Why would anyone think you're crazy? Shocked

There's definitely a village there.

Quaxo and I were talking about it the other day, like whether people still lived there, and we plotted ways to get over there.

That village is one of the Uru things I'm most fascinated by. Smile

I hope that we can find a way to that village in the coming year. I definately want to have one of the Linguists there with me though. Who knows if anyone lives there?

Cheers,

Oooo, can I come too?

Every expedition needs a folklorist, right? I'm trained to conduct ethical ethnographic research, document a field project, and not offend people from other cultures. I'd be a total asset to the team. Very Happy

I'm not too bad at mapping and puzzle solving in case you happen to run into those needs. I'll be just a KI shout away!

I'll join ya if you don't mind. Been wanting to go there since ever. So far, all the expertise I can offer is which route NOT to take, if we are going to hike there. I spent hours in Prologue trying to stack baskets to be able to climb over them and get over a rocky ledge that looked climbable and the right direction.
The result was I lost 2 baskets... forever. Laughing

I voted for this place in the "Which age whould you like to see more of?" poll, a couple of months ago. The places we can see but we can't go (yet) are one of the things I love in URU!

Don't forget that "Beyond Gira" is one of the tracks on the Uru soundtrack. One would assume it'll be a possibility someday to walk there.

/hopes

And remember that new-ish concept art of the hut? Isn't there a small chance that could go here?

Ooo! Can I come too? I could...carry a big gun to make sure none of the party gets eaten by the giant bird (which I happen to think is a carrion-feeder, but that's purely speculation at this point in time). Very Happy

And I could totally get over there by climbing down the wall beside the waterfall to that green ledge and then up. Getting BACK on the other hand...

I believe the page on Eder Gira on the DRC site (its down as of right now) mentioned it being removed from the public and given to study groups because of the existance of a native population...

Yeah, Quaxo. You should just carry a gun, because there's absolutely no reason a biologist like you would be helpful in any other way. Oh, wait... Wink /heavy sarcasm
