I know we've worked with the whole physical/spiritual restoration of D'ni, but this tagline sounds a bit more...ominous. And when we remember both the old mention of restoring the old systems on the DRC forums, and the suggestion of a guild system as a new feature...could the Cavern begin to more mimic D'ni at its height?

And what "evil" could be brewing in the darkness? Is it the Bahro, an Esher-like figure, or the metaphorical power of "pride" as Yeesha said?

How is destruction coming? If the Fall was in the past, then what could be coming?

What is this "way" we need to find? Is it something mystical like Yeesha's journey, or something else?

As for the making of a home, that is comforting to me...maybe it indicates more of the customization that was promised?

Hmm... "Rumours abound of the destruction of the cavern of D'ni". Sounds like something bad has happened... A cave-in? Perhaps the explorers have become trapped in D'ni, and cannot return to the surface. Therefore, they are forced to permanatly make D'ni (and the various ages) their new home. I have no idea what the "evil that brews in its darkness" could be. Perhaps a new villian, dividing the new inhabinants of D'ni into different factions? Who knows?

Can you say Escher? I'm guessing we will see more Sharpers, Ghens and Eschers. Kaddish seemed to be important as well so he might be this charracter. Who can tell

Us: Yes, that one.

Cyan: One word: Marketing. This reminds me of the whole Atrus quote on the back of the Myst box business. "I dare not write further without revealing too much." Huh?

I would imagine it will, at least I hope so. It seems like it what with the DRC
liason meetings etc when asked about Watson he was still in the picture so
hopefully!

It sounds like the DRC people like Marie Sutherland, Victor Laxman, etc. are taking Yeesha's journey and being a bit more open to her... Which means that the story-driving conflict will probably have to come from somewhere else.

Maybe this destruction stuff will come from outside the cavern? Perhaps we'll see more of Words and the Korokh Jimah fulfilled.

Anyway, I want to know what happened to Phil and Watson too.

I think that's right.

When I asked Moke once if we'd still have all Until Uru's familiar haunts, he replied to the effect that yes, for a bit, but that things would move quickly from there.

Remember what happen to the Kadish vault in the end of POTS?
Kadish was gone.. Like time was rewinded.. He might be someone we surely will meet.. Smile
I can't remember what the note said but it may also be important to predict what the quote means..
