Hey All...
I have just returned from the meeting hall on the first floor of Beginner's Bevin where I and roughly 70 other attendants took a break from exploring and enjoyed a good 15 minutes in the company of the ravishing Cavern Choir.
Tonight's programme consisted of a number of songs tracing the amatory journey of a young gallant. From love at first sight through wooing by moonlight and beyond. The performance was beautifully rendered in the style of the medieval choir. Even though I must confess to not catching much of the meaning of the words, the singing itself left no doubt as to the longing and intensity of feeling.
The choir got a standing ovation. Well deserved.
An encore is performed at this moment. If you hurry, you might still catch it
