No, flea. It probably won't be any time soon. I am sure that when it happens the word will flow wildly here at the forums, but for now, I wouldn't be making weekly trips to Minkata just to check.

Ah, so it's not normal that it's gone? I sortof assumed that it's absent because it corresponds to the current month (maybe touring Kentucky or something:)

Sorry, I though everyone knew, HC. Yes, it is broken. For a while they had the broken sparkie visible, and folks would spend oodles of time trying to walk through it unsuccessfully, so they finally decided to hide it till it can be fixed.

Cyan apparently has a quick-patch fix someone worked up, but they just haven't gotten a chance to test/implement it or something so far (that's a discussion in itself)

Means no full collection of sparklies alas.. but as soon as it's fixed you cn bet the first thing will be a post of fireworks along with a "It's working!" and no more explanation

I keep wondering if we need a sticky for this topic.

On the one hand, I'm not sure how so many people can know about the Minkata sparkly at all without knowing it's been broken for years. Where is the one piece of info kept that doesn't include the other? Maybe they should update it there?

On the other hand, this topic keeps coming up again and again no matter how many previous topics it gets, so perhaps it would benefit from a sticky till it gets cleared up?

For some reason I am unable to obtain any sparklies at all. Either this is a glitch or I am doing something wrong. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is?

It mainly seems that you didn't get the calendar pinnacle to gather the sparklies. Once found, it will be fine. If so, it's not a technical issue.

The Minkata sparklie is simply not working. They should be all on, but that one is buggy so it isn't. There is a fix which has been sent to Cyan, probably several times by now.

This is something that always puzzled me...they tell us the sparkly is broken but I went exactly on June 1st 00h00 AM New Mexico time grab 6 times my June Sparkly on shards for all my avvies there...but that is another story .

I didnt see any visual glitch in the 2nd kiva where it is located. I didn't hear any particular sound different from the other months sparklies. Only thing I can think of is the physics engine used in MOULa (physX) that is different for the one used in URU CC (Havok) which can make it "unstable" somehow

The object that adds the sparklie to your Relto got exported into the wrong PRP (someone at Cyan screwed up the max file). This PRP isn't loaded when you're in the nighttime Minkata, so you don't get the sparklie.
