With ongoing restoration in the city, I am hopeful that the efforts of the DRC will unearth more D'ni texts. Every time I wander through the city, I am mocked by that omnipresent phrase - rehbahntahno tehneeehn shemtee ( The [?] [?]'s you.) and I crave more texts and notes and fragments so that we might one day translate the rest of it.
I'm also hopeful that we will be able to study the D'ni language in classes in the Cavern. I dabble a bit in D'ni via the multitude of resources available on the web - I highly recommend Domahreh's Rehchoortahn D'ni (http://linguists.bahro.com/domahreh/lessons/), Khreestrefah's D'ni Dictionary (http://www.eldalamberon.com/dni_dict.htm), and the D'ni Linguistic Fellowship (http://linguists.bahro.com/home.html), though I'd much prefer a live class with a teacher, as I am not a very disciplined student when it comes to teaching myself.
D'ni is such a rich and interesting language. Anyone else out there craving more D'ni?
