No, the Photo Gallery Opening is this Saturday, Feb 2nd. The Pellet Blitz and Canyon Party is next weekend.
But, both will include music provided by D'niJ Lord Chaos! :D More details to follow as they're worked out. Stay tuned.

Have any of you ever put a pet outside for whatever reason and they look back at you with those big, sad expletive 'n Boots eyes because they just want to be inside? Yeah, go ahead and think of The stranger whenever that happens. ;)

Update: Lord Chaos and dodo_on_a_journey have both agreed to play music for this event, and I may get more D'niJs to participate. Just need to work out the details of who plays where and when, but you can count on 24 hours of music. So, spread the word: We will be dancing and dropping pellets for 24 hours on Saturday, February 9th (24:00 to 24:00 KI time). :D

Btw, are there any Australians interested in hosting the first part of the party at 24:00 KI time (which, I think is about 4pm there)? :)

I shall be there, and will bring my pellets, with five avis i can generate a goodly number if i run fast, which is good for an aging academic archaeolgist absent minded professor anyhoo......and i will look forward to the spike. It will be fun to do our part for the free world and for liberation of algae light cycles everywhere! Great idea Tai!

I'm going to take the liberty and copy a part of the first post to the UO calendar, directing here of course. ;)

It's beenn so long since anything happened IC that when you said abstain from dropping pellets, my mind conjured several large rabbits with 'pellet related' problems....

Anyway now that I think I understand, I'll plan to help get the nickname 'Spike' appropriately applied.

Heehee. Thank you.

Thanks, Junee! :D There's actually a better version in a link from the GoG Calendar (cause Lial cleaned it up for me). :)

Btw, I know you said you might have trouble getting into the city, but the whole party doesn't have to be in the city; we just need people to offer to host segments in other places.

Perhaps their could be multiple parties in different hoods? The city one sounds best though! :)

Will the pellets really cause that much of a significant spike to the system? Perhaps we could have a synchronised drop session? :)

What do you mean? There HAS been a very noticable change in the light levels of the lake. Each month since the pellet dropping started there has been change.

I'll be there. I can drop pellets every 2 hours. While it might not mean much singly, if we all do drops it should send a clear message that we are capable of some amazing things if we work together. This should be fun!

Thanks Latharion. Yes, every explorer's efforts matter in this endeavor!

Every two hours? Wow, my recipe takes three hours and I thought I was getting the best numbers possible.

Certainly, just say when & where you want to host one and I'll include it on the schedule. LC is providing music from the beginning to the end, so you can just tap into that for your party or make arrangements for another music source.

No reason why you can't organize one during your party.
