I had the great pleasure of testing this feature [FH in the City] last night along with a few
other explorers. In short, I'm impressed! But I have to yet try out all commands and such.

Whilst we were not that many in FH-City I got a good ammount of Lag. The usual Giant
Bahro was looming by the Arch, so that might added some. And I'd suppose that all the
commands carried out by the other explorers might have slowed everything down a bit too.

But still, a Novelty and a very Interesting One! Well done Lyrobot!

Hmm, probably shouldn't be too hard; those are SDL values, and could be turned on permanently.

And lemme say, the FH instance of the city is absolutely beautiful... the sky is darker; i decided since it's a 'past' version of the city, that proves those pellets really DO increase the luminescence in the cavern!!!!

It was really interesting, seeing some older bits of the City. Lots of fun, also, to be able to use those Lyrositor commands to do some exploring on a grand scale.

THANKS for setting this up!!!!


Edit to add-- oh, and at least last night... there were JOURNEY cloths in the FH instance of the city!!!

They aren't SDL. They would have to be paged in

My mistake, I thought certain SDL settings were used to toggle them (I double-checked; instead, one is for enabling the Teledahn book outside of the library).

Breaking news! Lyrobot has just told me he has finished assimilating his new functions within his operations parameters, bumping his version to Lyrobot 1.2.0! So... what's new in this release?

Well the biggest news is that Lyrobot can now link to other Ages upon request! For now, this is limited to Teledahn, the Fun House, Gahreesen and the City (all Fun House instances), but more shall come! Apart from that, you can now control two other beings (holographic Yeesha and a Bahro) and xwarp now freezes you upon arrival. For a full list of changes:
  • Added web forum: there is now a forum available at http://bot.lyros.net/forum/ to discuss Lyrobot.
  • Correct xwarp: this should correct some of the bugs with xwarp; it needs testing though.
  • Fixed Marker Exchange game data: there was a mixup between marker games. It has since been fixed.
  • LinkTo can link Lyrobot to another Age - with a time limit between links: Lyrobot can now be told to change Age once per 10 minutes.
  • New Bahro and holo Yeesha command: you can now control a Bahro and a holographic version of Yeesha just like you controlled Yeesha before.
  • New dance and wave commands: Lyrobot will now obey you when you tell him dance or wave.
  • Prevent Lyrobot from panic-linking: this is particularly useful if other Grey Hats page in objects. Lyrobot will not link to Relto; instead, if he falls, he'll just warp back to the spawn point.
  • Updated Yeesha and other beings with "bow" command: all beings can now bow.
  • XWarp now freezes you automatically upon warp; type normal to go back to normal.
Lyrobot is looking forward to seeing you in the Cavern soon!
