For Uru, there's this and this that I know of. Don't think the underlying software was ever released in any way though, it was more of a proof of concept.

Yeah, they're working on VR for Obduction (it was mentioned in one of Cyan's recent videos IIRC). The question is how many people here will have enough horsepower to run VR let alone the game itself? Cyan hasn't released the necessary hardware specs for Obduction yet, but one way to tell if your system has what it takes to run an Unreal Engine 4 game is to check out this benchmark just to give an idea. Note that the benchmark only runs on Windows. I haven't run it myself yet, but I have played a couple Unreal Engine 4 games and they can be pretty taxing even on good hardware, though that's if you run it on Ultra. :P

From my end, Montréal Canada:

The demo download from US-1 server took forever (± 30 minutes)
UE4-DEMO
Size: 3.48 GB after unzipping

Could not start because X3DAudio1_7 is missing windows 7 64bit
Download from microsoft Windows 7 64 bit
DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... px?id=8109

Visual and sounds very choppy on my windows 7 64 bit ultimate
Visual a little bit better in windows (x86 32 bit) but not better for sounds

specially when compare to YTube video...
