It drives me nuts too, since I hate asymmetry. But it's either that, or a bunch of open space on the left.

Does anyone know when we find out which ones have been selected? If I had to do it it'd take me forever to decide with all the wonderful submissions I've seen here.

Wow. Great to see all the late entries, good stuff.

Now that the deadline has passed, does anyone have any idea (or educated speculation) as to when they'll announce the selections?

I expect we should give them a few days. They've got quite a job in deciding their favorites.

Yeah, I myself am not expecting an announcement for at least a week, maybe longer.

Many have suggested that Cyan select more than 2 or 3 entries. I surely hope they do that, and if they need more time to change their process, then all the better. I don't envy them their task.

It's just that most contests, even ones that aren't called "contests," have these things set in stone long in advance. Call it another example of Cyan eccentricity, or another example of poor communication, either way, it'd be nice to know...

The DRC announcement seems to suggest they are planning on choosing several entries:

The t-shirt contest ran October 2 to 22, was judged on the 23rd, and the winner announced on the 27th. So, I would guess early next week, since they probably won't announce on the weekend.
