I was within an inch of becoming a greeter when Muol went belly up. I remained true to the Cavern and my friends begged, threatened, cajoled, etc., for over 9 months before I finally let it go and moved over to another online game. Now the Cavern is making noises again and my problem begins. The online game where I made many friends and reunited with others is being abandoned like the proverbial rodents leaving the sinking ship. That's not bad but why do we need to leave in a nasty manner? My friends and I worked darn hard to level up in that online game. Now, we're coming back and suddenly the the other game is now a pile of junk seemingly played by a bunch of idiots. Where does it say that we have to burn our bridges behind us? Unless I'm totally off base here, we can have more than one online game and have a good time with all of them.
Those that migrated to other games in order to have something viable to do should not blast the other games but instead enjoy the wonders of all the games. MUOL is great! Always was. World of Warcraft, Conan, Lord of the Rings, Fear, etc., and etc. are good games and I know we can make room for all of them. We all have free choice and nobody forces us to play. It just hurts me deep inside that this beautiful game set in this wonderful cavern is being used by it's members to run others into the ground. Bubba Gump is back and not soon enough and I will be in the cavern chatting and exploring. It's too bad that I tend to be a ditz as far as programming because if I weren't I'd be cranking out new ages, puzzles and even a few monsters and magical spells.
My point? ? What is my point? We are fortunate in that we have great games to play from the comfort of our own homes. Let's not play one while verbally blasting the others.
