Okay ... I'm bored so I decided to check a few nuances of the game that I haven't heard or read about...

Teledahn...

The age rotates around it's sun (approx) 65 - 75 seconds

Eder Kemo...

The rain cycle is (approx) 10 and a half minutes clear weather...(approx) 2 minutes of rain

Gahreesen...

Once out of the original building (up the elevator) the catwalk here rotates every (approx) 95 seconds
The other catwalks [6 (thank you astro) in total] are (approx) 85 seconds each, taking a total of (approx) 8 1/2 minutes to circle to whole area

Eder Gira...

I'm still working on the day/night cycle but I'm having trouble finding a point of reference to start/end with..help would be appreciated

Any other areas besides the Pods (approx 15 hours 43 minutes) that you see please post here...

How about just pick a point when the moons are up and start from there?

How about just pick a point when the moons are up and start from there?

The moons are always up. They just fade away during the day. Best point of reference would be the sundown. It's awesome.

This has nothing to with timing, but maybe direction..In Minkata, two songs are prevalent...One, when you are on the right track back to the starting point after touching the symbol...Two, when you complete all the Kivas and make it into the 'hut' and touch the stone...
I found another when approaching Kiva three at a particular angle. I have been able to re-produce this song but I have to be exact..Nice song..Anyone else able to get all three songs?

In Teledahn, there are four buckets...they are entering the 'bucket room' (using the lost bucket turnbuckle as reference) #1 approx. 11 secs, #2 approx. 18 secs, #3 approx. 21 secs, #4 approx. 31 secs. The whole rotation takes approx. 42 seconds...
.
Oh..and it takes approx. 15 seconds for the lever in the same 'bucket room' to release the switch for the hatch at the link in spot

Gira has a 10-hour cycle. The best point for developing a prediction is Gira noon, because it's not as arbitrary as sunset, which depends on your position in Gira and some fuzzy criterion for determining when the sun is "down". You can watch your shadow and tell when it's directly beneath you, which gives you a firmer benchmark. Do this for a few cycles and you can develop an accurate prediction of the cycle. (In the Gametap MOUL I used to publish a sunset prediction chart for imager posting based on a cycle determined from Gira-noon observations. It wasn't hard to develop and never required any fine tuning during the course of the Gametap incarnation. I haven't checked yet to see if it's still accurate, though.)

Just for lols, here is what my old spreadsheet predicts for the times of Gira noon for the next week. I consider sunset as beginning 2 hours and 15 minutes later, for those who like to watch it from the top of the arch. Times are given as Mountain Standard (Cavern) Time.
