Now the Uru In Real Life Pod Calendar is showing NaN minutes for me in Chrome when it's always worked before.

I'm trying other clocks.

Don't know if this will help anyone, but the http://www.uru-reallife.com/dnidatetime/release6/map.html didn't work for me using Firefox, but when I switched to Internet Explorer, it gave me what appear to be correct times. I haven't tested them yet.

Older versions of Firefox used to work, though. What’s going on at Mozilla? :x

I'm in Dereno waiting for portal. Not sure where we are at portal time wise to location. Heard in the city Negilahn in about an hour so I figured I missed it and shoot for Derneo a bit later. But I see talk about Tetsonot in and hour.

Well sooner or later I'll catch one! Already created an Excel file with the formula to calculate all portal times with just one entry of an exiting portal time pinned down. So I wait and wait and wait for fate!

And your right about viewing http://www.uru-reallife.com/dnidatetime ... 6/map.html in Explorer it shows the times. My FireFox-Mozilla doesn't. But I had used its time before by 5 minutes before until 5 minutes after and it never came. So not sure what's working now.

 UPDATE: I eventually realized my computers time wasn't set right from my last OS 7 32bit install. So that was causing the uru-realife to show wrong times. I corrected it and came about 5 minutes early and caught portals afterwards. One good thing that happened was the off time I came into Negilahn was perfect timing to catch the full Erwin arrival and departure and got a good Ki shot despite my many paniced failed attempts.

Wondering if I'm near time for a portal appearance for any pod..

My personal favorite is Christian Walther's Pod Clock/Zik Clock, though I haven't yet checked its accuracy since our recent "event".

I just used his clock and was able to get through two portals this morning. Also this clock shows the events coming up and although it appears to be set for central european time, the count down must be converted to your local time. http://www.kater.sadji.de/portal/

Note: I'm using Google Chrome

There could be all kinds of factors involved - not just the server side.

For example, there have been times when I've run the same pod on 2 (sometimes 3) different PCs at the same time, and they differed from each other by up to 30 seconds. So, sometimes your own computer can make a difference.

I couldn't be sure on this but it wouldn't surprise me if the server does a form of "scheduling" on the portal appearances to avoid everyone trying to link at the same moment - that would make the portals appear at slightly different times for different avatars.

I'm not sure about that, Mac. I've always been under the impression that the portal "timer" is built into the software on your PC, and not in the server. (How else could they work in the shards?)
