A few years back probably closer to three I played what I thought was URU live but it never made it. Then by chance I stumble across the site again and see that URU is back to life. I will admit to not having read much of the forums but I do have a few questions. Mainly I am wondering if this is the same concept that has been resurrected or a new idea that some how slipped passed me. I see that it is in the beta stage and I have signed up but I admit to ignorance as to what is currently going on now with the game. If anyone can clue me in, in the briefest possible way, I would appreciate it as wading through the forums is quite tedious and my work doesn't afford me the time to do that and play mmos... such is life i suppose ^_^

Two corrections to the FAQ, though:

(a) The release date has been narrowed to "December."

(b) the GameTap birthday celebration discount price offer has been extended to TODAY, October 31st. This is your last day to take advantage of that price. With Uru Live beginning in December, it is still at least a $40 savings to sign up now.

Sign up for GameTap if your in the USA and you can ply uru Live in december - and keep yourself amused in the mean time by either playing old myst games - again -or signing up nd waiting for the Uru Live Beta!

if your not in the USA or Canada don't worry - you'll still be able to get it internationally when it's released in December! Also the beta is international!
