Looks to be in the same shape it was in years ago but at least the doors have been opened now.

Seeing this isn't a surprise anymore I'll go ahead and post

About an hour ago they weren't opening in the Main City Instance, but they did open in my Hood instance.

Just as multiplayer buggy as they've always been. I got my marker in the nexus Ae'gura version, but the doors appeared to be closed to some at the time.

And people criticized me for making a topic saying something was new in the City? *groans*

Hmm... they were closed about 10 minutes ago in the nexus Aegura, but there were a few folks locked in - walked in OK, couldn't get back out. There was a bit of chat going on through the doors. Also found I could see through my Avi at times and see the inside of the Library...

I didn't even notice the issue with the doors because the first two times I went through, they operated properly. Then, when I tried them again later, they either stayed shut or held open for long periods of time.

When I visited the public city, the Library doors were closed (and appeared to be so for everyone present at that time), but they worked fine in the neighborhood instances for both my avatars.

That's a good point actually, Whilyam.

Psst - mod - this title is really far too much of a spoiler. :D

You know, I considered whether it was a spoiler or not but I didn't figure it was because it's a prominent area of the city and there are other topics similar to this one, such as 'Delin - Released Tomorrow', etc.

But, if it is too spoilerish, my apologies.

Worked fine in my instance. I'd actually forgotten how the doors worked so them snapping open on their own gave me a nasty turn.

... I love the Library. It's one of my favorite places in Uru, and I'm SO glad it's back! The idea of a linking book on each pedestal just fills me with glee.

I don't see the "spoil" in this at all. Anyone that has been in the city in the past week could look beyond the barricades and see doors down there.

If it's a spoil to say that something is BUGGY then I suppose I would have to agree.

It's a spoiler, and has no business being like it is.

The title is a spoiler?? 'open' could mean ANYTHING. I assumed it meant a new area was open, as that's how we usually say that. It was marked spoiler properly and everything.

This is still a beta test. Turns out, this area has bugs. I think it's a good thing it was posted, not a bad thing. In a week, none of you will have to worry about spoilers on the beta forum because you won't be on it either.

This is a -good- crowd, that cares about accidental spoilers and such. If you keep calling every topic title a 'spoiler' then they'll just put 'spoiler' in the topic and nothing else, and leave it at that. Then you'll never have a hint as to what might be spoiled, and whether you can view the topic or not.
