What is that large stone ring at the edge of my relto for?

Simple answer: Nobody knows.

It is widely thought, however, that it could be a means of displaying how far you have progressed through the game. Kind of a trophy totem.

It could, however, quite easily be something else altogether...

You're right, actually, Islander. With each age you complete, a floating stone is added to the stone circle.

I personally Like to use the Relto as a whole as a progress bar of sorts to tell how far along that particular person is in finding everything

For now. We don't know what it will do in the future, with Ages we have not yet encountered.

I have completed four ages as you can see on the pillars on the screenshot, but I have only three stone plates! I wonder if that is a bug because I crashed when I jumped down from the Bahro cave after taking the fourth pillar (that was Eder).

It might well appear when you finish this part of the game alltogether - try going onto the next stage...

To get the fourth piece of the ring, you must go to Eder Kemo, enter the journey door again (don't return the pillar yet!) and jump once more in the hole. This should do the trick.

Yes I will do the next step. I just wondered if anybody else have already finished the next part...?

I like how the Eder Stone is split into 2 as the age of Eder is split into 2 ages ^^ a nice lil touch there i think ^^

Phantastic that did the trick - of cause! Though at first try I crashed once again like I do a lot when I panic link from the Bahro Cave. Thanks, I should have known.

I have, and many others have.

Once you've finished alltogether, the stones do indeed stay-put (well, rotating), which suggests further that they're like trophies.

Yeah. I just finished the cleft and got my final reward :-)

When I had returned the pillars and entered the Bahro cave the far side platform always is small even though is pillar is standing there. Wonder if that is a bug...

Just as random trivia, if you'll look closely at the ring, you'll see that it wobbles from side to side as it spins. It's not perfectly level all the time.

Nice touch.

Just a guess, but I'm thinking that at some point we'll be able to jump in the middle of that ring and be able to teleport to the nearby island.
