I have a question and I wonder if anyone's tested this yet. So far in the hoods if you leave a door open or closed, that door stays open or closed until someone else comes along and changes it. So I was thinking since the private rooms in the egg room can't be opened from the outside (at least I don't think so), does that mean if people go into them and close the door and then quit the game, that that room will be closed up forever?

I believe that:
a) The egg rooms open again on a timer. I want to say 3 minutes.
b) If no one is in a Bevin, the egg rooms open.
I only know this second hand. I'm sure someone else can verify.

The doors have a timer. They open automatically. I'm not sure if the timer works if someone's inside the room or not, but if it's empty, the room definitely opens after a period of time.

As far as I know, this holds true for the doors to the Linking book room only. The doors leading to the classroom and the egg room must be opened manually and close automatically when nobody is near them.

As has already been said, the private rooms in the egg room close on request only and open again either on request or automatically after some time.

The inner eggroom doors are on a 3 minute timer. Soft-boiled egg anyone? ;)

I'd much prefer a soft boiled egg to a lumniscient pellet.

I tested the door out a couple of days ago. I closed the door, linked to Relto, then came back. The door was open again.

That's to prevent you from being locked out. The cleft doors behave in the same way. It's not the same thing as staying in the room with a stopwatch or similar until the door opens. :)
