More lockers, similar to the set downstairs although these are manned with some heavy equipment. I'm sure Watson will want to see this stuff and keep it locked up well. In fact I'm not even going to go into detail about it here. Laxman can write all about this stuff in a later report. I will say I didn't know the D'ni had these kinds of technology.

i believe he could be talking about guns, cannons, etc.

*looks confused* Why is Gehn's shocky-spear thing called a Heek? Is this official, or just an agreed upon name? Sorry for being a newb *wink*

Official name from Riven. It appears in the D'ni writing in the classroom.

I don't think that AhoyHeek is the same a Gehn's Heek!

Someone also mentioned the fire marbles. I don't know if that was for the storyline but the fire marble Saveedro smashed at Atrus made a fire so could think of fire marbles as cartridges or replacements for them.

I always thought of the firemarbles as a stone that when kinetic energy was applied responded by luminesceing. The lights in Atrus's study always struck me as being something different. Just my thoughts.

Two completely different questions to those I asked before:

1. What do you know about music in D'ni?

2. What do you know about the religion in D'ni?

there has been many religions in the D'ni history.
this site is very useful. :)

about the music: we know that at the beginning there was a Major Guild of Fine Artists. during the reign of king Naygen, he split the Guild of Fine Artists up into the Minor Guilds of Sculptors, Artists, Actors, and Musicians
i don't remember anything else, but i didn't read the MystReader, maybe there are more informations there.

In Riven in Gehn's age you can see an instrument on the wall and in his music player hear what it sounds like. My guess is that that is either a Rivenese (sp?) instrument or one from D'ni, that he salvaged after the fall.

I think it is a d'ni instrument called a Marel-Obe. You can hear what it sounds like in the cannen Gehn keeps near his writing desk.

An Extended History of the Relyimah (D'ni), from the D'niPedia Archives.

The guld of Illusionists was found by King Lemashal, who also founded the Relyihmah.
We don't know much about it. We know that it was believed to be linked with the loss of the Relyimah's ability to gain knowlege, and so King Yableshan placed a man by the name of Faresh (a spy) in charge of the Guild of Illusionists.

more informations

Hi people!

I need some information about the cavern!

How large is the main cavern? (height and length)

How many D'ni lived there during it's "best" time?

Which King built the huge libary we can go to?

What are the two tokatah's for? (Besides that DRC worked there)

What's the name of the street where you can come to Kadish Gallery? (Tell the D'ni name if possible)

Hope you can answer my questions!

Greets Hitana

 some your questions are very difficult to answer, i think we don't know the name of the street where you can come to the Kadish Gallery; to know how many D'ni lived in the Cavern in the best time i think you should search in the books you can find in the Kings Hall

Hitana wrote:

i think King Ailesh built the Library we can visit, but i'm not sure because there isn't explicitly written that he built the library that is on Ae'gura; but i think it is quite correct because it is the main D'ni library and it is on Ae'gura, that was the most important island in the cavern

Hitana wrote:

i think that they were used to govern, like two city halls.
