Hi folks,

It's time for another stress test of the City. We'd like as many of you as possible to show up in the public instance of the City on rehearsal tomorrow at 3pm Caven time (GMT - 6 [so that's 5pm Eastern, 2pm Pacific]). Same drill: we'll have people watching from our end, linking in and out, etc. No special instructions initially while you're there other than to just be there so we can see how many folks we can comfortably get into the City, how long it takes you to link in and how the gameplay experience is affected by the load. We will start with the City capped at 40, and will gradually raise it from there, hopefully topping out at 200 or so. We will be communicating via system wide messages throughout the test, so if you're stuck in the Nexus waiting for room in the City just be patient and you should be in eventually. While we are capped at 40, we will be interested to know how the experience compares to what you see on Live, so we will hold the population steady at 40 for a short time to give you time to compare. To make your comparasin, you can either draw on what you know if you've experienced a full city during Scars, or you can organize your own forrays to max the City population on Live between now and tomorrow to establish your own metrics. If, by the time of the test, you are someone who still has not been to a full City on Live, please consider remaining in the Nexus early on in the test so that others with metrics to compare can be in the City while it's capped at 40. That will help us to maximize the value of this test. The test should run between one and two hours, so we hope there will be a good turnout. Remember, these City stress tests we run on rehearsal are extremely valuable. If lag in the City is on your list of things you'd like to see fixed, attending these tests is the best way to help us do it, and so your participation is greatly appreciated. We'll see you then!
