Hi folks,
We are pushing Live 2 to the Live server today. What this means for the Rehearsal group is that the Rehearsal server will go down soon, but not for a few days yet. We have a(nother) hotfix planned for the Kadish Vault state problem that is occurring, which will likely not happen on the Rehearsal server until tomorrow (1/17/07) at the earliest. What we would like all of you to do is to reset your Kadish Age once the hotfix occurs (so delete the book by pushing the tab at the bottom of the book in the bookshelf and link to Kadish again through the hydrant) and re-solve the Age. The reason we want you to do this is because we do not wish to wipe the vault. We want your existing avatars to yet live, so that they may carry on when the time comes for testing of Live 3 when the Rehearsal server opens once again, and so we want all avatars that will carry on to Live 3 to have the correct state in Kadish so that it will be easier to spot problems (i.e. we seriously want to avoid the confusion of tickets reporting this problem in Live 3 from any of you who may not have reset your Age like we are asking you to do). None of your avatars on the Live server should see the Kadish problems, as the new fix is in what is getting pushed to Live. So, once the hotfix to Rehearsal occurs:
- Delete your Kadish book to reset the Age
- Play through Kadish again
- Patiently -yet eagerly - await the reopening of the rehearsal server when you will then be testing the super-cool Live 3 build on the Rehearsal server. Thanks!
