Hi folks,

We have a few conditions that we need tested today, and so we are calling for a good rehearsal presence throughout the day. The test will be a two part test - the first part is just to be on the server throughout the day, and the second part is to get the in-game population as high as we can between the hours of 3 to 4 pm Pacific (GMT-7) - 3 to 4 hours from now. We're not testing any new content or anything like that. This is more of a 'nuts and bolts' kind of thing which we need tested as much as possible before it goes out to Live. We will give more specifics at a later time, but we will be pushing the hotfix out momentarily and then you will receive further instructions from CyanJason on what to look for and what to report here on the forum - probably in another thread. So:

- Hotfix coming momentarily
- Be on the rehearsal server as much as you can be today
- Be on the rehearsal server especially between 3 and 4 Pacific (GMT-7)
- Await further instructions from CyanJason about what feedback we're looking for

That's it for now. CyanJason will take it from here when we're ready.

We are still working out a slight kink, so the update wont be ready by 3:00. Not sure exactly what the time frame will be yet. Stay tuned.

The final kink has been worked out and we are ready for testing. I will be starting the update in a few minutes. During the update the server will be down for a couple of minutes while I update the back end. More details to come once the servers are updated.

What we need to do is test the state(persistence) server under extreme conditions. I have set things up on our end so that we can mimic these circumstances with fewer people, but we still need everyone to cause an many state saves as possible. The best was to test this is for everyone to change the state of objects. This can be done by kicking cones, rocks, logs, etc. and opening/closing windows doors. Try to hit as many unique objects as you can. In other words it's better to open five doors than to open and close the same door five times, and better to kick five rocks than kicking one rock five times.
