Yes. This was my exact experience at the beginning of my testing. What was even more peculiar than the quabs was an apparent 'live' crystal (and I know which one) long after I'd destroyed it.

The problem appears to be client / server / network / database related in that the changes at the client end weren't being immediately written away to the server.

Round and round and round... I look forward to Ahnonay in Rehearsal 9 to see how much has been fixed.

Yes i myself saw this with a fellow tester, we were working through their Ahonnay and they started over after clearing both Qwab and Crystal Ahonnay and went back to start over and without resetting the book, there were the normal Qwabs again, and they all needed to be shoooed off the island once again.

Build 9 will indeed be a lot of fun testing :)

Thank you! It's now established that the Ahnonay reset bug I described happens to both solo players and groups. The crystal thing, too.

This is starting to remind me of some of the Teledahn reset bugs I and others have encountered. These are not complete back-to-ground-zero resets, like we used to get in all the primary ages early this year; these are partial resets. Like in Teledahn: The power is off but the antenna is turning, or the stones are off the pressure plates, but everything else is the way it was left.

My next question is, is there some kind of Ahnonay state "leakage" from avatar to avatar, either different avatars for the same player or multiple players in Ahnonay?

This is fascinating in the Rehearsal context, but I sure hope they get these things figured out and taken care of in Live.

they definatly reset partially. I took a look at the files, and each time I linked in, it generated more Quabs. Not as many as before, but still gave me more after I got rid of them all

Actually the Teledahn bug was something else. It was a Sync issue between how fast the sun went and how fast the spot for the power went. The sun is an object and the "power spot" is a different one. The Power spot was going slightly slower than the actual visible sun.

I would say that the is a state leakage, but not from avatar to avatar. It would probably be a checksum parameter in the programming. Supposed to subtract all 20 Quabs, but something goes missing and it only subtracts 5, then maybe 7, then maybe the rest for each clear-out of Quabs you do.
